Kushal Petra( left handed batsman, whose idol is Jayasuriya), Niroshan Dickwella would be good deal for the PSL teams

Rashid Khan is now part of IPL, CPL, PSL, BPL, BBL and that Afghan tournament. Good money man, good money.

It's astonishing Sethi has excluded Imran Tahir's name in his tweet.

First the visa fiasco, and now this. It certainly seems there are elements in the PCB which still haven't forgiven Tahir.

@Saj

Maybe it's just an honest mistake.

Sethi is a salesman. I doubt either Rashid or Lewis will be able to play considering the world cup qualifiers start on march 1st and it would be idiotic to not have games during February for both teams.

Will still watch regardless, this is where we will see the newbies hone their skills, where we will find the next Wasims, next Inzis, next Jamsheds

Top Cricket Stars Join HBL Pakistan Super League*

New signings to join pool of released players

14 October 2017 – Lahore: HBL Pakistan Super League is all set to become bigger and better with more international stars signing up to take part in the Player Draft for season three.

This year’s HBL PSL Player Draft will see teams vying for top tier international talent including JP Duminy, Mitchell Johnson, Mustafizur Rahman, Wayne Parnell, Colin Munro, Imran Tahir, Luke Ronchi, Angelo Mathews, Mitchell McClenaghan, Adil Rashid, John Hastings and Chris Lynn.

South African middle-order star JP Duminy, who recently called an end to this Test career in a bid to focus on limited overs cricket, will add experience and firepower to the player roster. He is joined by his national teammates Wayne Parnell and Pakistan-born South African spin wizard Imran Tahir.

We have top tier international talent joining a pool of released players and this sets us up very nicely for the main draft.”

Teams will now pick one player each in the Platinum, Diamond and Gold categories, two in Silver, two in Emerging and up to four players in the supplementary round to make up their squads. The draft pool for this year will consist of new signings as well as players who were released at the end of the retention window and went unpicked in the expansion draft.

HBL PSL returns to action in February 2018!

The PSL management are missing a very good t20 player in Colin Ingram, the guy was at his menacing best in NATWEST T20 blast and being a kolpak player he would be available for the entire tournament.

If he isn't signed for PSL3 it will be a loss.

PSL haven’t signed a lot of players this year
If u look closely most of these players are returning players and have been part of the player draft before.
Angelo Mathews, Mitchell Johnson, Jason Holder,Mustafizur Rehman, Lendl Simmons, Wayne Parnell, James Vince have all been part of the draft before!
And those are just the names I can remember of the top of my head, I think Albie Morkel, Hastings, Mcclenghan, Adil Rashid and Bresnan have also been apart of the league in the past.

I've been wondering the exavt same thing. It would be odd if he wasn't in the draft.

It can be a case that the PSL management have contacted Colin and included him the draft but they have held back his name which might be release later with other players like Adam Lyth, Bell Drumond, Kyle Abbot, Marchant DeLange.

If I am not wrong in the previous seasons James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Cook were included in the final draft list without much hype by the management so we can assume the same for Colin this time.

BTW he has got signed by a BBL franchise, keeping this in mind it hard to believe he won't play in PSL.

Will WI players play in PSL? Because WCQ collides with PSL and there is too much at stake for WI.Few upsets and they could watch WC from their homes

excellent signing so far considering that all the top team will be playing international cricket

good job by pcb

Duminy and Matthews would be a good pick

Have my doubts on Chris Lynn if the pitches continue to as they have been.

Rashid obviously would be a coup, has Zalmi written all over him especially with Afridi gone.

Afg will play WC qualifiers in March, doubt he’ll play the whole tourney.

You're waiting for the Fab 4 to sign up, aren't you?

Yes. :misbah4

But if not the Fab four, I think I'd be happy even if De Kock, Warner, Finch, Hales, Stokes, Guptill, Yuvi and Amla joined.

I think we're still in that 2nd tier in terms of international quality but, yeah these players would be the best possible players when they join.

Pakistan Super League 2018 schedule

Any news on dates for PSL in 2018 yet, want to book flights to Dubai as they get more expensive day by day. I know draft is Nov 10th but need to ensure when matches are incase they are being hosted in Pak on those days. PCB should give us some clarity at least on dates , poor marketing as usual. If they specified when Pak matches potentially will be than that would help

Well they haven't yet come to a decision as to how many matches there will be in Karachi etc. so it seems everything is still being planned.

They released the schedule for the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy five days before the start, so....... :srini
