What's new

IPL 2018 | April 17 | Day 11 | Discussion Thread

I know, MI did that once, in fact they won last 5 and the last one in dramatic situation (hit a SIX to qualify). But, that makes their (any team for a 8/10 run) chance even worse - Leicester City won EPL as well, for once. :)

IPL is more balanced now and teams are more experienced - gradually point difference between top and bottom team should reduce. We'll come to a situation where NRR becomes key in IPL.

RCB batting is like Indian batting. After Top 3, it’s all duds who fail to score 50 runs between them.

Sarfaraz Khan is the new unmukt Chand. Just because you are highly rated and marked as one to watch in the future doesn't mean you have made it.

We wouldnt be bottom of the table if we had Cummins instead of King of Cutters.
Anyhow, MI have done in the past and they have the potential to do it again

No, you still would have lost 3 games - Mustafz wasn't the worst bowler in those losses. In fact, with Cummins as well, I am sure he would have made the XI - they would have dropped Pollard, batting isn't MI's weak link.

Sarfaraz running like Kumpu Panda, terrible technic to slide in to crease

Please don't compare us to Leicester City. We are the most successful team in IpL history.

We are the man utd of ipl, if comparison is to be made it would be like the season where utd won the league after being 12 points behind Newcastle at one point of the season.

I am talking about 8 wins out of 10 :)

But, now it's much easier, MI is winning today - 7 out of 10, with probably 6 of those 10 at home.

There is no way MI will drop Pollard. Bruh Pollard is like Mumbai’s local hero, no way he is ever getting dropped. He is to Mumbai what ABD is to Banglore.

RCB should play Parthiv Patel ahead of Sarfraz Khan.

In fact, Parthiv should open with QDK and given the full license to go after every ball. Parthiv is a decent striker of the ball and can score briskly.

PP is far better player than SK :19:

Fizz is not so effective, no longer same player after injury break !

Mumbai crowd has been disappointing we are normally very partisan, what's with the stupid Kohli chants.

Useless Innings from Kohli today. I know he was looking for NRR but don't like batsmen not playing for victory
