Fielding standard is quite good in IPL

Even more than ODIs, T20s have evolved rapidly. 200 is the new 160.

In ODIs, 300 is still not that easy to chase.

Credit to the local T20 leagues. We have SMAT. In addition to that we have so many premerie leagues at state level, city level in some case. Then they do scouting outside these leagues focusing on smaller leagues. BCCI never did any kind of scouting. Now IPL franchisees are doing the heavy lifting for BCCI.

I just trolled the living daylights out of my Hyderabadi colleagues and I am not even a Lucknow supporter

As bumrah's scouting by wright , our selectors will always play safe .they won't pick any player with talent or x factor.they will pick any new player only if there is a necessity and on top of it we will have dravid kind of coaches who prefers bharath over jurel .with out ipl, we must have stuck with 90s mindset kind of selectors
