So much talent in Indian cricket, likes of Nitish and Kishan are not even part of LOI teams proper
Nitish is back from injury. Trust me he is one of the brighest future of Indian Cricket. Will replace Rinku in T20is in the next series as Rinku has been out of form compeltely. Nitish and Tilak are excellent choice for ODIs too but just no space!

Hopefully skipper SKY finds his Mojo back. He is the only one not really firing these days in our lineups. But atleast he doesn't waste balls even when he gets out for 10-15

Wow dhonis electrifying stumping. I remember one of the dialogue in rajini movies where Villan will say to Rajini "Even though ur aged ur style remains the same" .

In srh match, Klassen was sleeping and took an eternal to miss the stumping
In the same situation.

:dhoni

As always tilak is all about hitting boundaries against bowlers especially spinners in middle overs and zero rotation. Will get out making runs at 120 or 125 sr .

Nobody in the history of Cricket makes consistently pathetic and eye sore jerseys liek Bangladesh. Absolutely hideous

If you criticize BD jersey, I am not going to jump around like a lunatic. I can take it like an adult. That's the difference between you and I. :inti

I simply wrote I found SRH jersey horrible. These Indians are attacking me. LOL. Funny people. :yk

Looks like another BJP IT Cell worker signed up on PP. :inti

I was replying to your post saying SRH jersey is the wors ever cricket jersey. That is your opinion. I stated my opion but looked like you don't have anything to come back with so you got back with personal stuff. LOL

That SRH vs RR pitch is beyond pathetic (n)(n)
Batsmen were toying with bowlers and playing like it was a video game. I genuinely feel bad for the bowlers, they looked completely helpless out there. No wonder so many of our IPL stars struggle in T20 tournaments after bashing on these kinds of rubbish pitches.

BCCI seriously needs to stop preparing these batting paradises and start making balanced surfaces.

It's okay if it is limited to Hyderabad. One high scoring venue, one spinning venue, one with 180 odd as average... ....variety will keep things interesting.

Yes you are right. These kind of games are not good for cricket.

I think pitches need to have something for bowlers , also I feel impact player rule is not good. Cricket is about trying to get your balance right with XI players.

We already have Chinnaswamy, but this Hyderabad pitch is even worse. Wankhede and Eden Gardens also batting paradises plus the dew in the second innings just makes things even more lopsided.

Impact Rule is very stupid.

It caused a run inflation.

You see why NZ batsmen are good against spin. THey learn their batting here at chepauk. It makes them better. Most NZ players played for CSK.

In cricket, only Pakistan-India or England-Australia can be considered as an El-Classico. A domestic league game cannot be one. :inti
Tbh it's not for you or me to decide. It's the wider audience, if the viewership is that high it counts even if it's a domestic contest

IPL is not even 20 years old. It has no real history like the Ashes have (which goes back to 19th century) or Pakistan-India have.

This cannot be an El-Classico. :inti

Viewership is inflated due to India's large population. :inti
Yup I don't disagree. But if the fans feel so than who am I to contest that. It's only marketing any way.

What works is both these teams are serial winners, which is not the case for either of the two rivalries you listed above

What do you mean? England and Australia have won Ashes many times. Pakistan also have a superior head-to-head record.

It seems like you only want to focus on recent results (for obvious reason). :inti

Ashes series is over 140 years old, BTW.

I mean winners not in terms of head to head against each other but overall trophies. Only Australia can be called serial winners in international cricket

Mumbai and CSK are both serial winners in terms of IPL trophies, so obviously their rivalry is marketed as such.

What limitations. His biggest limitation is selfishness. Swing troubles him. That is applicable for all our openers.
He is not aggressive enough for T20s where we have better options. In 4 day cricket, he has been found wanting for the A side

Don't care about ODIs. It's a mid format and we still have likes of Sai Sudharshan and Abhishek to test out there

IPL is not even 20 years old. This so-called rivalry is not old enough to be considered as an "El-Classico". It is laughable to call it an "El-Classico".

Original El-Classico (beetween Barcelona and Real Madrid) has a history that goes back to 1902.

The German football fans call Bayern Munich v Dortmund as 'Der Klassiker' (Their own version of el-classico) even though Dortmund are only recent rivals.

The rivalry is for IPL fans who claim it equivalent to that for franchise cricket. Why does it bother you if we claim it for ourselves?

German league is 2nd-tier. LOL. It is not in the same tier as Premier League or La Liga.

Anyway, you can call it whatever you want. For outside world, this IPL rivalry is not an El-Classico. :inti

Tbf nobody here cares about the 'outside world'. Just like for German football fans, it's our tournament and we will continue calling it as we like.

Outsiders though can continue getting bothered

C'mmon how this is not fixing? Maybe not for money but batters clealry ran themselves out so that crowd get to see MSD
