Pandya is the most important player for India in white ball cricket right now, he gives a crucial balance , I do not think any other team has a seam bowling all rounders like him right now. He gets wicket almost every time he bowls , and with bat he can hit at any stage , also can also play restrained innings.
He is one of the two most important white ball players that we have, the other being Bumrah.

Never really understood this 1 short rule.

Batsmen run 2 but because they run short, they are only given 1 run. But if you have run the 1st run short, aren't you automatically running the 2nd run short? So technically you shouldn't be allowed even a single run. It should be a dot ball.

MI won after Pat Cummins shone with ball for SRH

Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma hold the key for MI, following a middle-order collapse. Earlier, a late blitz from Heinrich Klaasen and Aniket Verma powered SRH to 162/5. SRH were struggling at 115/4 at the end of the 17 over before Klaasen shifted the momentum, slamming Deepak Chahar for 21 in the 18th over. Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Klaasen to pull SRH back slightly, but Aniket and SRH captain Pat Cummins combined to collect 22 runs off the final over from Hardik Pandya. For SRH, Abhishek Sharma top-scored with a 40 while Will Jacks (2/14) was the standout bowler for MI.

Lol I know! Maybe the other guy ran two and they take pity on him? 😀

Ryan Rickelton’s 21-run innings was initially over, caught by Cummins, but a Klaasen keeping error led to the dismissal being overturned and resulted in a no-ball and free-hit.

Yesterday, watching travis head bat was disappointing. That guy was just missing everything. Could not middle anything.

Will RCB vs PBKS Be Abandoned Due To Rain? M Chinnaswamy Stadium Bengaluru Weather Update
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are all set to play their third home match of IPL 2025 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. They will take on Punjab Kings (PBKS) on April 18 in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.

RCB and PBKS Are In Great Touch

RCB, now led by Rajat Patidar, are currently placed third in the points table. PBKS, captained by Shreyas Iyer, are not far behind at fourth. So far, both sides have won four out of their six matches, making this clash an exciting one as they’re neck-and-neck in the standings.

In their last matches, both teams showed impressive performances. PBKS created history by defending the lowest total ever in IPL - just 111 runs - in a game played at Mullanpur. RCB also looked dominant, defeating Rajasthan Royals by 9 wickets in their recent match in Jaipur.

However, there’s some concern about the weather possibly affecting the match. According to sources and videos shared by users on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the ground in Bengaluru is currently covered, which usually happens when there is a chance of rain.

Clouds have been seen hovering near the stadium, raising doubts about whether the game will go ahead without interruptions.

As per the latest weather report, the conditions at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium are partly cloudy. The temperature is around 25 degrees Celsius, with winds coming from the south-southwest at 13 km/h and gusting up to 28 km/h. The chances of rain are currently at 22 percent, with cloud cover at 28 percent and humidity levels around 60 percent.

Although the weather seems a bit gloomy and the ground is covered, the chances of rain spoiling the entire match appear low at the moment.

There might be short delays or temporary interruptions if the clouds bring light showers, but for now, fans can stay hopeful for a full game between RCB and PBKS.

Nehal Wadhera, Bowlers Impress As PBKS Beat RCB In Rain-Curtailed IPL 2025 Clash

Chasing 96, PBKS are four wickets down against RCB in their rain-curtailed IPL game. Earlier, Tim David smashed an unbeaten 50 as RCB survived a batting collapse to post a challenging 95/9. David went berserk despite wickets falling at the other, collecting 21 runs off the final over bowled by Harpreet Brar. For PBKS, Marco Jansen, Arshdeep Singh, Brar and Yuzvendra Chahal all picked a couple of wickets. Rajat Patidar was the next best scorer for RCB with 23 as eight batters got out for a single digit score. Earlier, PBKS had won the toss and opted to bat after rain delayed toss.

Rajat Patidar now scored over 1000 runs for the franchise, making him the third Indian to reach the feat after Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal.

Back in Top 2

I hope we secure a Top 2 finish. Its crucial, as 3-4 teams have to then go on a 3 match winning streak to lift the trophy.
