This impact player rule need to take a hike! You can't even call it T20 at this point. They added this Impact player rule just to cover up, and add way more teams than IPL can actually handle and extend the schedule.

If the player don't perform as well as they were paid can teams rescind or lower their offers? No point in paying someone million bucks for them to score these 10 20 runs?

Pacer Avesh Khan held his nerve in the death overs to help Lucknow Super Giants pull off a thrilling two-run win over Rajasthan Royals with a tight three-wicket spell in their IPL match in Jaipur on Saturday. The Royals were cruising at 156 for 2 at the end of the 17th over, needing 25 runs from three overs with eight wickets in hand. But, Khan conceded five runs in the 18th over and took two wickets -- Riyan Parag and Yashasvi Jaiswal -- before defending nine runs off the final over.

Caribbean southpaw Nicholas Pooran has completed 9,000 runs in T20 cricket.

LSG's Pooran achieved the feat during our Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash against Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

Our flamboyant batter reached the landmark with his first run in the match on Saturday.

Pooran became the fourth West Indies cricketer to enter the 9,000-run club after Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard and Andre Russell. Meanwhile, he is the 26th cricketer to complete 9,000 runs in T20 cricket.

Pooran has been in sensational form in IPL 2025 and is the current Orange Cap holder. Our swashbuckling left-hander has scored 368 runs in eight matches at an average of 52.57 and a strike rate of 205.58. He has already slammed four fifties in the ongoing T20 tournament.

The 29-year-old recently completed 2,000 runs in the IPL. Pooran has amassed 2,137 runs in 84 games at an impressive strike rate of 168.40. He has 13 half-centuries in the Indian T20 League so far.

This is Virat's 59th IPL fifty, including 8 hundreds in the IPL. This is his 67th fifty-plus score as well, the most by any batter in the history of this tournament. He has overtaken David Warner, who has 66 scores of over fifty.

I just see trundlers galore in IPL.

Not a single "fast bowler" in IPL. Especially local Indian bowlers. Mukesh Kumar Mohit Sharma ishant sharma deepak chaher Arshdeep singh and countless others.

Just trundlers trundlers and more trundlers.
