IPL Final Deccan Chargers VS Royal Challengers

Gilchrist VS Kumble.

I know many people do not follow the IPL. But, what the heck, it is the finals and nothing significant going on elsewhere.


I am supporting Deccan as I enjoy watching Gilchrist and also this is Shahid Afridi's team.
 
I wanted delhi and chennai to get out and that what happened.
 
CSK and DD has most of the indian current players ..Dhoni , Raina , Viru , GG , DK , mishra , Badrinath etc
 
dont know how bangalore got into the final under pietersen they were doing Rubbish.

I'm supporting deccan from the previous tournament till now cause it's the team of the shahibzada =D. I think the final will be an easy win for the chargers
 
I like both teams cause of some of the players in each. I hope its a close contest. But i support Royal Bangalores, because its KP's old team, and i like boucher, and VD Merwe, Kallis, Pandey and Ross Taylor.

Gilchrist can take the game away from them easy by himself if he performs like he did in the semi final. But I want to see Pandey and Taylor perform well and put up a very good fight. Its gonna be Awsome!! Cant wait.

gilchrist normally saves his big performances in big matches, bangalore should be vary of him

i supported them since last season. its good that they reached the final this time round. gilly & lehmann partnership has been awesome.
 
i m happy that atleast yuvraj and dhoni wont b playing in finals......and if this tym decan wins...wat a pity for indians tht foregner captains pick up their domestic trophy:p

He means he'll watch it if he's done watching paint dry. In other words he's not interested in the IPL and would rather watch paint dry.

Just excercising his democratic right NOT to watch a game - although you would think that there was some law in place that you had to watch it and say only positive things about IPL.

Me? I'm juggling between real sports like F1, League 1 playoff final, Windies v Eng, Rangers & Celtic - and thats for starters.

No room for WWE style 'cricket' I'm afraid....

Which will be a pity because it's not something IPL specific.

It's just that I have always had contempt for anything noora. Even when I was in primary school.

I was actually gonna watch it because of Gilchrist but after CL decision, i think i am not gonna waste my time on this crap anymore. It was already boring enough and NOW i don't think this Indian tamasha deserves my time and attention anymore.

Bangalore win toss and will Bowl 1st.
 
Am hoping we see some fireworks from Gilly just like in the semi-final
 
I read that the value of the IPL is now 2Billion $, this is the last year with these teams , next year 2 more teams will be added.
I hope theres a Pakistani team owned by a Pakistani , that will certainly improve the flavor, compared to a Deccan team led by an Australian.

What did you expect from the CL decision? That the BCCI would move the CL out of India to accomodate our players? Why would they?

Also have noticed that people on here are going out of their way to show how anti -IPL they are.

Why? If you don't want to watch it don't....why do you have to advertise to the world that you think the IPL is crap, not real cricket, boring etc....if thats your view then fine. No need to make your point over and over again. It just stinks of sour grapes.....again, I thought we were better than that.

I hated Kallis in Challengers team , more s cos of his bowling ...but have to admit hes been very good for us
 
Gilly's departure seem to have dent DC's confidence, B'lore on fire....

and one more departs... DC in early trouble
 
Has this ground been high scoring one so far in IPL? what would be good target to defend?
 
if not cancel it, atleast they can prob'ly keep this "time out" thing optional. Let fielding captain decide whether he needs it or not. I bet today Kumble would have wanted session to continue...
 
its always been chasing friendly , dew is a huge factor ....150 is par score imo !

Just started watching few min ago. DirecTv in USA. No ads for the whole match even if there is no commentator or no action (like innings break) because it is PPV
 
they are taking about 60-70 second to start an over. just seems like long enough for 1-2 ads. 20 second coverage of celebrity cam. Zuma SA president talking with some woman. In timepass it said he is looking for 4th wife.

No modi cam yet. maybe I missed it

RC should be able to get it easily. Good thing is they probably don't over-rely on any single batsman.....
 
Mandira Bedi's clothes are good indicator of how local weather is. Seems like freaking cold out there...
 
RP deserves the purple cap ....they better play him in all the matches in wc !
 
it doesn't looks like a batting paradise by any means... lot of juice for bowlers
