Its cold and wind with some rain in the air.

Both sets of teams warming up at the moment with the rain coming down.

The crowd were singing happ birthday, I presume to Misbah, which raised a few simles from the Pak players.
 
Absolutely pouring down.

Younus Khan having a net with Hafeez and the deputy coach bowling at him. The rest of the Pak players tucked away in the dressing room.
 
Just been chatting with Tanvir Ahmed. He had about 7 layers of clothing on and asked if it was always this cold in Ireland :)

Good news, the rain has stopped and the umpires are out there inspecting the outfield.

The covers are still on though.

look at younis passion guys, even practicing on the match day as well, thats what he asked from his player when in charge but unfortuntaley they prefer oath taking rather than extra hard work.

Belfast is a underrated place. It's a beautiful place to visit and a ideal type of place for Pakistan to discover something different... However let's hope they don't consider this as a holiday, just like the great man Afridi stated a few weeks ago. :P

Revenge must surley be in Pakistan's mind, or will Ireland defeat another team under the captaincy of Ul-Haq?

Only way to find out is... When the rain stops!

Irish have been quite busy - Queen's visit,Obama's visit,and now Pakistan's visit and tut tut,not a single pic or video from PP's resident Irishman !

why would i go visit obama? or the queen? both peoples troops slaughter people every day :P...

the pak cric match...dad wasnt well so i dont want to make him drive 4 hours and then back in that condition even if it means missing a match lol
 
i think nature also doesnt wants a game without afridi lol

lesser overs better for Pakistan as we hardly last 50 overs but then again misbah the tuk tuk master wont be happy.

thanks. good decision. overs are going to keep getting reduced. and dl will come into it, which will mean advantage team batting 2nd.
 
Should be lots of moisture in the pitch, hopefully seamers find some form.
