Is Adil Rashid good enough to walk into the Pakistani team?

Same applies to the people in the Pakistan team that apparently Rashid will replace. One bad game and knives are out, wolves hunting.

Given the body of work, Rashid just isn’t good enough.

Shadab had two good games and one bad game and knives were certainly out.

Epic Phainta today. Enjoyed every moment of it, nothing personal against Rashid but those sixes were so sweet as I could feel the pain of big 3 apologists and people consistently demeaning Pakistan. They are still doing it now.

Bad day at the office for Rashid. Bowled like Shadab today.

Uff the 6 by Starc on the first ball of the last over, pitching it right up in the arc. Maza aa gaya!

Just when Shadab haters were getting a bit ahead of themselves, Maxi the Big show delivers an epic chokeslam of a lifetime! Bowl your little googlys mate what are you thinking flighting the ball up like that to Maxi?

Rashid is a better spinner than Shadab. He can easily walk into the Pakistan side.

I’m so going to sleep sweet today visualising those clean clean hits by Maxwell, level hai boss!

I thought Adil Rashid was way better than Shadab, but looking at his stats, they tell a different story. He averages 2 runs more than Shadab Khan, gives away 0.5 more runs per over, is a worse batsman and is 11 years older. Another case of the English talking up their players as if they're legends.

Poor call from Morgan to give him that last over when he could’ve bowled Wood

Rashid is a very good bowler ODI for me, this performance doesn't change much.
Quite frankly, there is no spin bowler in the world that will keep Maxwell down when he is in good touch. He is too destructive with too many shots.
He also isn't a death bowler, and that result in the final over is on Morgan rather than him

Very good bowler. Could be a game changer for either sides.
Underrated batting ability too.
He very much can walk into our odi and t20i team any time at no. 7 or 8.
he will be much more comfortable bowling in subcontinent.
even though he was schooled by Younis, Misbah and Malik during that test series in 2015, but he has improved a lot since then.

I think, that 2015 series was played on one of the most unresponsive wickets I have ever seen even for UAE standards and Adil had no chance to trouble PAK batsmen. Even then, he almost won the first Test despite PAK posting ~550 in first innings - only ENG to be denied a famous win for loss of overs due to bad light.

Absolutely brilliant 4 overs today at the T20 World Cup final.

2 for 22 and could have had another wicket or two.

Pakistan is traditionally bad spin playing team. Players like North, Aijaj, Alok got success against us. Warne ,Murali, Vettori, Kumble.....all are too good even our better test teams.
