As I said he is a good actor , but he cannot digest the fact that Bachchan and other commercial actors have more command at box office. Its a harsh truth , but one has to accept that. That is how life works.

Not every great actor becomes a star and to be to be a decent actor can become a star if he has enough Charisma. Among the present lot Salman Khan is a good example. His movies makes tons of money but no one rates him for his acting prowess.

Yes star and actor are two completely different things.

The money that is paid to actors is not on the basis of acting abilities , it is according to star power , how much audience can one pull to the cinema.

He definitely isn't. He's not even the best in bollywood and bollywood isn't exactly flowing with talent.

Bollywood is not about acting anymore. They hire models to become actors nowadays because acting is no longer considered to be a talent or craft.
