Especially by the English media? In a country which is used to praising their own players to the moon, prime example being Rooney in his prime being put in the same bracket as Messi and Ronaldo by English fans, is Harry Kane criminally underrated for an English striker who is genuinely world class?

Also if he were to make a move to a top European club such as Real Madrid or Barcelona do you see him faring better than Michael Owen and David Beckham in terms of making an impact or would he be another failed English export?

He is highly spoken off in the English media. Darren Gough thought he should win Ballon d'Or.

He will score many goals whoever he plays for except England because they have a poor team.

He's the closest thing England have had to a Lewandowski type player in years. It's just that he hasn't won a trophy yet or is playing for a team capable or challenging or the Champions League to receive the same type of attention that Lewandowski or Suarez or Aguero get. He'd easily fit in Real Madrid's side (just get rid of Benzema) and perhaps even Barcelona in a few years once Suarez is finished.
