Is Sarfraz Ahmed the right choice as Pakistan's Test vice-captain?

Yes but when it comes to be captain he should give up the gloves
no need to give up the gloves in test cricket if he is not playing ODIs and T20Is

Should have been the captain long time ago.
I am assuming Pak will play better batsmen than him for ODIs and T20Is.

Why would he not play one dayers? He was our best bat against a pretty good English team IN England.

He should be the captain but if Misbah is staying as captain, he is the best choice for vice captain.
I do rate him as a captain because he seems to know how to get people behind him and motivate them. Tactically, we'll see how he does.
There's also no other alternative for vice-captaincy at the moment. The only other player that gets in the team before Sarfraz just quit as vice-captain.
The added responsibility will require him to improve or be dropped so let's see how he copes. It seems like it's the right decision considering he is going to be the next captain in all probability.
I'd be curious to hear what you have to say Saj considering as a media person you've got more knowledge of these situations and our players.

Also none of the Quetta foreign players travelled to Pakistan. Shows total lack of charisma. I have said before he is not leadership material.

Sarfraz works best under pressure
Not many leaders being developed by Pakistan at the moment.
Seems like that we are producing a lot of cricketers who don't have leadership skills.
In days gone by everyone wanted to Pakistan captain, these days hardly anyone does.

Yeah Sarfaraz's charisma would have overruled the security situation in Pakistan.
Why even have an armed forces, have charismatic cricket captains and the terrorism issue would resolve itself

First choice at the moment , It is important though that he has a good deputy with him. Babar azam should be the next captain after sarfraz and he should be vice captain now. Sarfraz ahmed has 2 3 years left in him and after that we will need a good keeper and a captain as well.

Perfect choice,rather he should have been made Test Captain with Misbah retired before WI tour.
