Is Shadab Khan best suited for T20I captaincy?

There are media reports shadab will be back as t20 captain i think shadab is good for t20 he is your 3 d player but just dont select him for odis keep hin in t20 with his fielding and batting he can be pak best choice better than rizwan in t20 for sure.

Rizwan’s captaincy very much like Pakistan’s T20 side has been poor. Shadab Khan right now, doesn’t deserve to comeback into the Pakistan side.

Rizwan doesn't fit in the side. Babar has been tried and tested. Salman is yet to prove his worth as a T20 player. Shaheen I don't know what's PCB's plans for him.

That leaves Shadab as one of the more experienced T20 player who has had a good track record as captain in PSL.

Either way the damage has been done. Pakistan t20 side isn't recovering for a good 5 to 10 years.

Their odi and test side is probably never going to recover cause babar and rizzu aren't going anywhere from these 2 formats and they'll promote future rubbish once they retire.

Samaa Tv is not reliable.
2 days before they reported that one samaa tv journalist saw pak t20 squad for nz series pasted on a wall while mohsin naqvi was meeting the domestic players.They also mentioned that there only 3 changes in squad ie hassan nawz,niazi and haris.
They just spread false news day in and day out.

I do support Agha so this post isn;t a criticism of him.

But after seeing the disastrous captaincy of Shaheen today, alongside the usual disasters of Babar and Rizwan being unable to play modern T20 cricket is it safe to declare Shadab the best T20 captain in Pakistan?

If he was fit as he used to be and kept working on his bowling he would be the ideal captain. Young, a good example in terms of fielding, he’d set a standard. Tries to maximise every facet of his game. Decent mind too.

It’s extremely sad we are in this position again, where the ideal candidate is not the obvious choice due to lack of application and hard work. I don’t know how many times we have to go through this again.

Shadab used to be one of my favourite players. Still is to extent but all I see these days is wasted potential. I loved the fact he was an absolute gun fielder. We have disregarded fielding for so long, he could have led the way. Really think he was the guy that could have redefined Pakistan cricket.
