Is there a name to this pain?

They've chosen this pain for themselves. Nobody else is responsible. For instance, deliberately selecting Babar Azam, knowing he has not been in great form in the format lately, risking him at no. 04, that too at a crucial stage like WT20.

End results matter more than averages in a tournament having few games. Can you check averages of England, Australia and India batting lineup? Some world class batters will havr low average also.

10 15 more runs yesterday or getting brook out at some point could have given pakistan victory. Fine margins.

I think the Japanese "Hi Fun Kou Gai", would fit this, its defined as - A type of desperate, helpless, and miserable anger regarding a terrible situation that cannot be changed

Bro 10-15 runs and a big wicket of a batsman who scored a century isn't fine margins in T20.

We were outclassed completely.

Oh bhai that phonetic was very funny even though the meaning isn't.I almost got choked while eating.

There's no batter in Pakistan who can bat consistently in the 180 to 200 SR at all. They can't even bat consistently at 150 let alone anything else.

The quicker people understand and realise it the better. The likes of Hassan Nawaz, Irfan Niazi, Abdul Samad at their ages of 24-28 can't even do it in domestic on a consistent basis but then there's nothing consistent in Pakistan in the first place. Maaz Sadaqat is early days but again it will take a while before they can become someone who can consistently hit attacks at 180-200 from the get go.

Nawaz going under the radar. Guy forgets to hold the bat in tournaments. Averaging less than 10 like a true match winner.

You shouldn't be treating him as specialist bat. Lol That is not his problem. His runs should be treated as bonus

ICC money comes from where? Indian broadcasters?

Where is that money going to be used by the PCB when they pay tax? Dard hoga na?

Icc money goes to all countries not only pcb

Pcb does u turns and so does Pakistan government because of such pittance coming from icc,no self respect, dard hua?

Pakistan is pushing no.8 to no.5 and no.6 and expect them to perform like no.5 . These guys are no.8 not above that.

But what will Pakistan government use it for when they get it from the PCB?

Pakistan government can use it for anything

10 percent of icc revenue is from other countries

Pcb receives around 5 percent of icc revenues so what pcb receives may not be be from India and Pakistan can do whatever it chooses to do with it, though most of it likely goes into pockets of pakistani leaders,

Tumhara dard bas shuru hua hai abhi badhega

Even Azhar Ali if he plays 25 balls can make more runs than Babar.... 15 extra runs was all that was required to beat England not some amazing magical batting.

Usman khan would have done better than all these . Wasn’t utilized properly

We knew Pak was a weak batting team so will not judge these results too harshly.

To be fair to them, they got 2 games against quality opposition and they put up a par score vs Eng.

If they had won the Eng match with one good ball to dismiss Harry Brook, we would not be complaining now.

Just because you think he is a batting all rounder he won't become an all rounder lol
Nawaz is not a batting all rounder. He is more of a bowler who can just hold the bat. So far, he has been pathetic in this World Cup. These guys were supposed to win us games on supportive wickets but they failed badly with the ball. Nawaz, Shadab, and party are just useless so far.

To be fair, Pakistan played on sluggish Sri Lankan surfaces. Those surfaces aren't always easy for the batters.

Anyway, Pakistan still batted poorly. But, pitches also played a role perhaps.

They were given so much time on these conditions

Board also arranged a series

Also stayed in SL but still they give pathetic performances

You cant expect them to bat on sluggish wickets at high rate when even india apart from kishan cant do it......

We are just a mediocre side with mentally fragile cricketers. We'll just have to deal with it.

Squad could be mediocre but the choices made for PLaying 11 were pathetic... Hesson's obsession with all-rounders has destroyed us... People cannot see this?? They are blind then

Was Pak team great before Hesson took over? Our cricket has been destroyed for almost 2 decades now. Test team used to be decent till 2017.

we did fine.. reached semis and then finals with a mediocre squad. Playing bits and pieces players is never gonna work for whole tournament.. They might do fine in 1 game like Faheem did against Netherlands.

Nah we weren't fine. Just after playing wt20 2022 final, got blanked 3-0 at home to england. 2023 wc was even more demoralizing. Haven't won a test in NZ in 15 years, SA since 2007, Australia since 90s, England since 2018.

We are happy beating minnows in bilaterals and do not give any importance to tournaments. We are always under-prepared for it.

When we play on fast paced pitches, we say we aren't used to them

When we play in pitches closer to home - we have the same excuse.

But at least they could have batted decently
Not surrendered like they did against India

Against India, there were three blunders:

1) Winning the toss and bowling first. Should've batted first. Not easy to chase in SL.
2) Not giving Usman Tariq bowling much earlier. He bowled after 10 overs. By then, damage was done.
3) During batting, they were trying to slog everything out of the park. It was not that type of pitch.

Which is also a big problem for us. We are not underprepared in tournaments. We just don't have mental resilience to come out on top in the tournaments anymore.

Yeah 👍

Babar has never performed at the WT20, people really have no clue when talking about Babar. Its not form, its just not being good enough.
