In the past we have been familiar with big names and big egos in the Pakistani cricket team dressing rooms. Players that carried an air of arrogance and sense of entitlement to themselves.

However, the current team definetly seems humble and united so far under Babar Azam. The performances have also been pretty good so far. Is the least controversial Pakistani side so far?

Nothing new.

Has been since Misbah took over.

Yes. And that's a welcome change of pace from the Pakistan sides of yesteryears.

Even during Misbah's tenure there were certain arrogant and egotistical players in the mix. Namely; Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shahzad, but also someone like Kamran Akmal, who was crooked to the bone and who I hate with a passion. There was Younis Khan, who despite being an incredible player was a very volatile personality that had issues with a number of players. And then ofcourse there was that snake Amir who was a part of the side until very recently.

If I was a newbie I would love to make my debut in this current dressing room. Everyone seems down to earth and humble.

Softest, most boring and lacking any charisma Pakistan side

I would say Mishnah managed many difficult personalities in his time, and paved the way for the kind of dressing room we have today. I whole heartedly agree with the post that this is the least controversial, drama-less side Pakistan has had in the last 3 decades for sure.

Definitely the most boring side ever. No character, no ambition. Smile at the opposition and Just play for your place in the next series.

Smiling and being friendly with opposition is a bad thing?

Also what exactly is this badmaashi and character in a cricketer ? Can you explain in simple terms for the common man?

Has to be one of the least educated side collectively as well if Imad Wasim is not in any of its white ball squads

Shaheen and Imam had controversies (with ladies). Other than that, it is a pretty clean side.

Imad Wasim is an over hyped spinner, I can’t believe he is ever spoken of as an all rounder. Over rated over hyped player, lacks discipline and fitness also has become podgy as of recent years.

Educated? Have you checked there academic results, what makes you say the personnel in the team lack education? Thinking of others to be uneducated is the trait of the uneducated.
