Is Younis Khan the best pressure player you have seen?

Younis Khan has made a career in scoring runs when the pressure is on. He was struggling enormously in his previous few innings but all of sudden since the pressure is back on him and fans have called for his head. He is getting runs.

Yes because there was no pressure during the Two tests against NZ, so the Great Khan chose to not give his best.

In all seriousness the answer is obviously no. In this team yes provided the track is flat

I hope I dont jinx him but If he gets a big total, he has to be put in the conversation

So there is no pressure whenever he is not able to score any runs and despite Pakistan losing many tests in recent months?

He definitely is. Still remember that legendary 170 against Sri lanka. He also has a 50+ batting average in the fourth innings and he's playing a gem here on a difficult track like the OP said.

If he can do something this inning, then hell yeah. He can call himself the best ever and I won't mind it.

Miandad, Border and Gooch for me.

At a somewhat lesser skill level, Paul Collingwood always seemed to get fifty when England really needed it.

You are selling him short. He is the best player we have ever seen.

Dravid, Miandad, Steve waugh, Inzy, Younis, Cook in tests

Kohli, Bevan, Inzy, Hussey, Steven Smith these days in ODI

Being a good pressure player is different to the ability to turn the game on its head.

The likes of Jawayardene, Dravid, Waugh, Cook were great pressure players but lacked the ability to turn the game on its head.Basically the point is that its hard to knock them when going gets tough but they werent really game changers to be fair.

KP, Ponting and Kohli belongs to second category IMO. They can really turn the game when it matters.

Younis is a good pressure player and if conditions are conducive to him he can turn the game on his head.

I would not call him the best but he definitely is a top pressure player. Just check how many such knocks he has played recently.

There wasn't enough pressure today for UAE Khan to perform.

An inch of seam or swing and UAE Khan will be sent back to the pavilion. Not even close to ATG level.

A tough choice for him. His shot at atg is gone now. The only hope he has is that he scores some how at Sydney so that his runs against the windies next year to get to 10,000 have some authenticity to them

He was never had any shot at an ATG league to be honest. Any batsman in current era can't be an ATG batsman if he is poor in either ODI or Tests.

Last time Pakistan won a test in Australia was in 1995 (Sydney)
