This thread is truly the example of why Pakpassion is seen as a hub for senseless cricket fans (of course, among a lot of great members and top admins) - India bashing at every available opportunity, doesn't it get a bit old digging the same thread because the bowler is horribly out of form. Yes, we get it, he is nowhere near 100mph and the holy mark of Shoaib, but repeating every single time that Ishant plays is just monotonous and is not clever or funny.
Instead of continuously laughing at poor soul we should have a detailed look at our batting lineup.
^ What he said![]()

can someone throw light on what is Aamers test bowling average right now??
Because the subcontinent has produced plenty of chest thumping baboons...i wonder why this thread is on sixth page??

Apoorv: "The painful thing for an indian fan is that or should i say a KKR fan that they paid more than half a million dollars for Sharma. damn. So overrated."

still not on drugs though![]()
I think you just want to shift attention so you can quietly hit the 100mph mark yourself![]()
Ishant breaks the 100 barrier!
VRV is injured, Nehra has not played FC cricket in ages, RP Singh had a poor domestic season (played the whole season and averaged over 30) and Munaf Patel in the reserve bowler in the squad who will come into the team for the third Test, imo.
what are his speeds today?
Poor Ishant. This thread is bumped in EVERY single test the guy plays. Every test!)
does Ishant care this thread or this forum??
I want to him bowl 85 Miles/hour and take plenty of wickets for India, rather than bowl 100 Miles/hour like the pakistanis and get thrashed... How many matches did Mr. Shoib Akthar has won for you bowling fast? How long he lasted?
I hope not, he should care about playing for India rather than being payed to be slogged about for KKR. His international average is only going one way.does Ishant care this thread or this forum??
he's overhyped much like M Irfan.
bowling in the low to mid 80s? common. Thats what Razzaq bowls at and he's an not even considered our ace bowler...
He is not over hyped.. he knows his place... and the indians too know that he is useless.. no one in india will ever claim Ishant to be a prodigy now.. after being paid 1 million dollars, he was not even in the starting XI of KKR.. but he features in the playing XI of Indian test XI. This shows the depth of Indian bowling resources..
i've liked ur posts so far...why do you think india hasn't been able to produce high quality fast bowlers like it has produced batsman?
What a pity. Has regressed after a good start to his career.
That 1 million IPL contract destroyed him as a bowler. Hopefully the upcoming IPL auction where his prices will hit rock bottom will be the perfect kick up the backside to get his focus back.
Have to blame the BCCI as well. The jokers did not allow him to go and play county cricket just because the thugs at BCCI are at loggerheads with ECB!!
well.. please don't get me wrong here..
I feel it has to do with the basic attitude of people.. Pakistanis in general are aggressive, instinctive and spontaneous.. and indians in general are patient, methodical and calculative...
it refelects in their game as well. A fast bowler should have all the traits, all the fast bowling greats of Pak had those attributes (there might be a couple of exception).
Whereas to be successful in batting one need to be methodical and calculative, even sehwag has a method to his approach, he is very calculative and methodical. Pak batsman lacked this ability (there are exceptions like hanif mohammad, miandad, yusuf and abbas, but in general pak batsman lack these attributes)
Even the good bowlers that india produced like srinath and kapil, and spinners like dedi, prasanna, kumble and venkat are all methodical, they work slowly, set a batsman up and earn their wicket.
They waited for the pitches to wear out, and use the pitch to aid them.. where as even spinners in pak are not methodical, despite being highly talented they have the attitude of a fast bowler..
It is just my opinion, please don't take any offence.. some might say it has to do with gene and stuff.. I don't buy that argument..
How about bowling 90MPH consistently before he even thinks about 100mph.

Poor lad - he's going over 6 an over again - In fact he is over 8 an over at the moment with 3 no-balls already bowled in this spell.
Comon how can world no.1 team keep persisting with this kind of crap bowler?
Wasim Akram was right when he said that "Ishan Sharma is the most over-rated bowler ever"
Cupboard is bare my friend...this is the best they have got after Zaheer Akram Khan![]()
played the ininnings of life there!! waddaaaaplayaaa better then most pakistani top order bats!
Its one of the best threads, its in circulation during every series India play. Bit of a cult classic really.![]()
