I was watching this nuetrally until some random bloke brought up Rizwan v Sharjeel debate..the rest was history!!
 
Sharjeel holes out (if not for the no ball) after getting dropped earlier. It’s not an entirely convincing innings to be completely honest. 99% of these runs are off of the spinners which just isn’t okay if Sharjeel is competing for the opening spot.
 
Sharjeel needs to get a big one here. The stage is set for him. He can literally score 20+ in an over so he needs to be patient and pick the right bowler to target.
 
Loving this guy talking about starting a organisation and programme in Pakistan for down syndrome affected children..
 
Babar is nowhere near the best players in T20 cricket. He doesn’t have the 5th grear

Will definitely have to do more but, surely on his day more capacity to destroy opposition than some of our players in the last squad. I personally judge the player in T20s with what is that the player can do in his best day and you can always have one or two anchors incase the other players are not in the touch they should be so that team can get a respectable total.
 
Keep on the pace bowlers...both Babar and Sharjeel finding it hard to put them away...

You will not get buffer bowling all the time especially in I ternationals so many days he be out before he gets going, whereas Rizwan and Babar will more time than not play a significant innings for Pak. However, we do need one aggressor in power play.

Rankings are based upon consistency and SR which in Babar’s case is 128 which is decent. However, I agree he doesnt have the fifth gear and that is why he is considered an anchor in the team.

Sharjeel smacked out Shabad who is the equivalent of a part-timer nowadays. As of right now, he cannot lay a bat on pace and people want him opening. No wonder we struggled to develop a strong team.
 
If Kings don't cross the 200 mark considering they have all wickets in hand, it will be disappointing
 
Sharjeel is middling the ball with his helmet more than his bat against pace. Should try to bat at #4 rather than open the batting.
 
And we have Joe Clarke and Nabi waiting to bat but Babar is stuck at the crease.

Not too convinced by either of these innings so far. A ton of chances and most runs against spinners. Nothing special

Geez KK with all the luck in the world today. They might just fluke this game. On the other hand, the pitch is as flat as it gets. Anything under 200 should be easily chased.

Top ranking players are mostly top order batsman

Somone like Hardik Pandya, Pooran or Eoin Morgan are far useful than Babar Azam.Top order batsmen like Virat, snd David Warner miss a lot of T20 international matches

Any other batsmen at the crease would have murdered that over from Talat...should have gone for over 20 odd runs...
 
Very tough to ball in such situations when batsmen are and nothing to lose at all with 10 wickets remaining in last 5 overs
 
if sharjeel can maintain this form then he is exactly what we need in Pakistan setup but he needs atleast 2 or 3 more of these type of knocks to prove his worth

Haters crying. What excuses now as he just shamed Hasan Ali. Babar Azam struggling and people criticizing Sharjeel who is hammering Pace and Spin.

To be as consistent and averaging around 50 at SR of 128 is a skill too in my opinion. Yes lower and middle order players in T20s are less likely to top charts and same is the case for older experiences players like Virat and Warner who miss matches.
 
sharjeel getting under the skin of the rotti gang now needs to see KK to 200 now tho they have enough balls left
 
Babar also was also part of previous record partnership of 157 with Livingstone
