What's new

Islamabad United beat Peshawar Zalmi by 12 runs in 11th match of PSL 4

As pointed out by Smith, Musa does need to work on his bowling especially the amount of pressure going onto his back.

Musa's avg. speed 140 Ma sha Allah. the funny thing is, most of his deliveries are between 140-143 not higher

SHOCKED! SHOCKED at seeing samit's fitness level.

In u19 world cup he bowled at 148kph i remember it clearly. He is holding back here. Maybe because of the debut game.

Hopefully Samit will be dropped after this. He is playing in place of Zafar Gohar.

Enjoying the Caribbean onslaught hopefully they can carry it in and we get the full entertainment.

Shadab looked in slightly better rhythm today

Game over... bye bye and good night. Garbage innings from Imam, Amin and Dawson killed the game.

Come on Musa. Don’t dish it out in the slot for Wahab. Dig it in short and he won’t be able to handle it

The man of the match should go to faheem ashraf.

His over was the reason why Islamabad won

sami got a lucky hattrick. those were 3 terrivle deliveries that would had been put away for sixes by a batsmen like pollard or even sammy

BUT BUT BUT

Misbah-ul-Haq won ISLU PSL last season, so they will feel his absence this season they said...

Islamabad United vs Peshawar Zalmi | PSL - 11th match | Sharjah | Feb 22, 2019 | Match Thread

My goodness, the PSL is truly alive and kicking! What couple of matches we`ve had today! Amazing batting by de Villiers, Wiese and then Pollard. This is why I always wish that more and more PSL matches are played in Sharjah. A good wicket which rewards hitters.

yeah best day of the PSL so far.

You know, it´s easier said than done, and I do not wish to sound harsh here, but once the required run-rate and the whole run-chase was brought under control, Pollard should´ve been a little circumspect and careful, especially given that the guys to come were just tail-enders. 39 runs required off 19 deliveries isn´t anymore a task for which you need to go all guns blazing - and he had Sammy at the other end with him. For example, a six and a four off two balls and it gets closer and closer. But again, just how easy it is for me to say this, especially given how people would´ve then complained and asked why Pollard changed from an approach which was working so well for him? Either way, wow, what power this man possesses! Almighty sixes those were from him with such ease! Even the ball that he got out off, even that one travelled far without him having hardly hit it. Fabulous stuff from the big man!

When Wahab hit the first ball of the last over for six, I was like, "Here we go again, Sami is at work!", but he controlled things nicely from thereon.
