What's new

Islamabad United v Peshawar Zalmi | PSL 2 | Match 1 | Dubai | Feb 9, 2017 | Peshawar Zalmi Innings

At least Kamran looks like a proper batsman unlike the newly appointed ODI captain.

This is a good start on this pitch. Not a typical T20 pitch by any means.

Malan needs to get out ASAP. We want to see Harry Sohail

Kamran looks in good form.

He is committed to be picked in the team after all the hardwork in domestic and getting no rewards. This is where he can impress everyone because not many follow domestic cricket even selectors.

Lol this is exactly what I was thinking

I believed Kamran failed in international cricket. So not much of a discussion here.

his comebacks were quite tough. still his innings against SA in SA deserved much longer run in the team. selectors were too quick. I believe that times selectors made so many changes every other series that it's unbelievable. Not many got consistent run.No wonder we ranked 8 now.

Two chuckers operating today. Let's see if they give a good account of themselves.

One has an average of Afridi while the other averages mid-30 with a SR of 90.

Stop your incessant, narcissistic, attention grabbing trolling.

Finally someone said it. Kamran is going good but that doesn't mean you start criticizing others.

that was sweetly timed by Malan. Finely a good shot from him.

He's talking about Junaid and Ajmal.

Well Mamoon himself says (when defending Ashwin) that if a bowler is not called how can you say he is chucking. Apparently the same rules don't apply for Pakistani bowlers.

Amazing how much hatred he gets. The guy averaged 60@91 in the England ODIs, outperformed even Joe Root and has been a consistent performer since late 2014 but that's not good enough for some.

I hope Malan or Kami get out, wanna see Harry asap

If Kamran averages 30 plus with a strike rate of 140 throughout the tournament he'll be in the next LO team.

Ashwin doesnt even look like chucking, Junaid clearly does. But fair enough

that's why stats can be so misleading. You only have to watch games to see if Azhar's innings were valuable. I still remember him and Sami Aslam tuk tukking at 3.00 in the first PP.

Junaid has played very little international cricket since the crackdown on chuckers and since he is a pacer, it is a little complicated for the umpires to catch him with the naked eye.

If he doesn't improve his action and continues to play international cricket, he will eventually get reported. Ashwin on the other hand has a squeaky clean action.

Malan using everything other than the middle of his bat to score runs

Irfan looks the real deal for the first over and then turns into a trundler later on. I think its got to do with the fact that he loses pace instantly. Should bowl the first over, one in the middle and two in the last, IMO.

Kamran is rotating the strike brilliantly. Something our top order batsmen have no clue about.
