I've barely watched any of the PSL this year but I'll have some free time for this game. Looking forward to see the new wunderkind of PP, Rafatullah.

Speaking of youngsters, Zulfi baba showing he's still got it :zulfiqarb

Good to see Hussain Talat in the side, he has a List A average of 47 at SR of 87 which is superb.

Khushdil Shah and Saad Ali are two other young batsmen we should consider in LOIs.

Interesting, they've sent Talat out at #3. Thought they might send him in a bit lower, I looked through his recent games and he's been a bit up and down in the order.

He seems to have batted at 3 mostly during the regional one day cup.

Good to see IU management backing him there. He has looked shaky and nervous so far though.

Talat needs to follow the way Rafatullah is playing. Slog sweep isn't on because the bowlers are bowling a good length, have to get on top and keep it down if you sweep otherwise get on the back foot and play it after it's spun. No idea if either of these guys are comfortable using their feet to come down the pitch but that is an option, albeit risky with the amount the ball is turning.

What about this lineup

1. Smith
2.Rifatullah
3.Dino
4.Haddin
5.Misbah
6.Watson
7.Wasim Akram
8. Ruman Raees
9. Mohammad Sami
10. Mohammad Irfan
11. Tauseef

I think this will be a good line up.

Thank god Chacha get's another chance.

If I remember right Chacha Rifatu was dropped 3 times last game.

Well he can't blame his poor performance on lack of luck.

Talat looks really nervous, which is understandable, but someone needs to have a word and tell him he has plenty of time. He's played a couple of quality shots but followed them up with some village looking ones.

Just tuned in and Talat smashes two boundaries. I like the look of him.

I want IU to lose but Talat and Shadab to do well :amla

This guy Talat looks a natural hitter with high back lift & back foot game, lefti as well. If he is intelligent, he'll look for a spot as Sharjeel's possible replacement as had hitting opener.

What a hit from Talat ! That's the shot of the day.
Chief Destroyer check this guy out.

He looked nervous at first, couple of near misses but he's settling down now.

The Bhai Brigade is not the Youngsta Beauty Brigade:smith

That'st better, hit a couple of boundaries and pick up an easy single instead of trying to force another big shot.

bowls hadny 130k to 137kph.
Bowled a good last over including yorkers. But that was the only time i saw him.

Regards

This Talat has looked like the best upcoming Pakistani batsman (Fakhar included)

Lol sarfu talking to Mahmudullah in Urdu

Yaar people in Bangladesh understand Urdu very well. I was surprised to see when I visited. It is because Indian cinema and the Pakistani influence perhaps. MMHS bro would you agree?

Talat is looking good, but thanks to Misbah's fetish for old guys, he was selected very late, where as Rifht was selected right away, we have been plagued by this mentality and he is not going away anytime soon :acp

I met a lot of Banglis during my uni. The girls even spoke Urdu but their accents were funny however they said they learnt it by watching Bollywood and Indian tv since childhood. The boys understood it in bits and pieces but didnt speak it.

IU is my home team but don't like them at all, mainly because of Misbah...IU winning means misbahism will live for another year

Apart from Babar, he is the first & only U23 local batsman that's given a game here & played at 3. Therefore, I stick to my assessment is that lack of talent is an excuse to protect the 35+ buddies. I don't see batsman through CricInfo & from little Utube clips I can say that Saad, Saud & probably that U19 WK would have done better than every PAK player over 30 here, may be apart from Malik - and each of them are far, far better fielder.

Danny is so lit. Great addition to Pakpassion. The crowd and fans love him. Entertaining stuff

The one day captain has a ringside seat for this performance so ideal time to play a big inns.

Rafat continues to play... Hafeez continues to play....

No space for youngsters

Clips of Rafatullah's batting is what you'd use to torture suspects at Guantanamo Bay.

He should have been before that but Rossouw dropped a dolly.

How, this guy Rafatullah gets 3 games is beyond my explanation. Replacement pick I can understand, but given 3 matches after watching him in nets actually questions Dean Jones & Wasim. I hope, this is not a "revenue sharing" selection ........

I know it's only one innings, but I'd select this Talat guy for the next tour. Definitely seems that he has somethign about him and he will only regress in our domestic structure.

Yeah, its all about protectionism, what has Misbah, Hafeez, Malik, Sarfraz has done?? - Who are playing every match, where as Youngsters have to perform in the very first match or out forever

Misbah and SK has promoted very bad culture of bashing kids and protecting middle age men :((

Why are they showing it again and again it is so cringeworthy

Any batsman who can take a single whenever he desires, you know he can bat.

Looking really good after a poor start, go on and make it to three figures son.

Alot of Kohli in that heave.

Dont kill me for saying that

Man Talat is playing really good shots, not wild slogging, more embarrassment for Misbahism :))

Sorry to say but pathetic captaincy from Sarfraz by bowling spinners consistently.

Why don't hypers like Chief Destroyer hype actual good players like Talat

Then they say Pakistan doesnt have any talent.
bhai jab youngsters ko chance he nai do gai to kaisy kh skty ho ..

More than 70% of the youngsters have performed well and look talented.
