Watching talat bat and three youngster spinners announcing themselves in psl is good for pakistan...

the question is Did MISBAH, MYK, AFRIDI and HAFEEZ have blocked too many young talents a chance for many years just to prolong their meaningless careers and paycheque which they are still doing and willing to do if and when an opportunity is there..and let pak thrive on mediocrity forever which brought them to an all-time lowest no.9 in the ranking...

The selectors have to do their jobs too.

These talents like Talat aren't completely unknown, they were performing in domestic cricket too. People like Iqbal Qasim and Haroon Rashid recycled so many TTFs and failed to build a pool of young talent.

Let's see what Inzamam does after this PSL.

Would love next season if we have more Bangla players. Imagine Sabbir Hussian playing alongside Babar for KK.
 
Mohammad Nawaz has had a poor tournament this year. Not the wicket-taking threat he was last year.

Seems like you started watching cricket only recently and haven't played alot of hard ball cricket. No two bowlers are the same even if they are same type and have same action. That are alot of subtle differences like flight of ball, line, length, revs, speed etc etc

Hasan has a better loop & he brings the ball in at flight, which needs extra bit of time to give a full swing. Nawaz is almost arrow straight & hardly any turn.
 
It would be doing a world of good for Shadab just by being at the non-strikers with Watoo
 
Shadab is best find of the PSL, he got to be in all LOI teams...His googlie is best among all, and can bat better than all these bhudhas, good fielder and very energetic guy, what else he needs to be in the team ?

Sir he is only 18 years old. You need to be atleast 28 to debut for Pakistan. Sorry Shadab, try again in a decade...

Almost identical 1st innings total today, but this one probably will go to chasing side.

Only Zulfi and Malik are bowling spin in this tournament. Rest are all darters.

Not including leggies.
 
The last ball was also a juicy full toss. Bad captaincy to bowl a guy like Anwar in the last over. Even worse management to keep playing him.

I didn't say Hasan was turning, he was drifting in air into right-handers from round the wicket - just couple of inch drift & then straightening a bit after pitching is handy.
 
Hussian, Hassan, Fakhar and Shadab should immediately be inducted in the LOI squad.

no actually the spot fixing trio BUTT,ASIF and AMIR gave the light at the end of the tunnel for the nearly finished careers of MISBAH and HAFEEZ ... MYK was banned by IJAZ BUTT back then for disciplinary reasons..

and after that it was everything about building image but now it looks overcooked and MISBAH wants to cook even more ....

Moh Irfan Jr. is a bright young guy. Good pace, good height. Just needs to work on his fitness. He's genuinely one for the future, trust me. Lets hope he's managed well. IU needs to roll him in so he gets to work with Wasim Akram. That would change his career.

Other than that, Amad Butt has looked good. These guys are still pretty new so its too early to write them off given their talent.

Ehtisham Sultan, the guy played for Rawalpindi in Qalandars' Talent Hunt. He IS Tall and moves the ball bothways around 145KPH.
