Israeli strikes across Gaza kill at least 235 Palestinians and shatter ceasefire with Hamas [Update @post#234]

These are the Unknown unintended consequences i had mentioned about. If you start a war then be prepared for any level of retaliation. If you dont want retaliation then dont start the war period. Wars have terrible consequences which can escalate really quick. Why doesn't Hamas then come to the negotiating table??
No point in debating with pure ignorance. In your deluded little world October 7th is focal point.

In the reality world, 76 years of barbaric oppression, annexation has been deliberately ignored by you and your ilk.

And let's not forget where all this started from. 1917. Arthur Balfour signed the declaration.

Surely you meant to say always stating the truth.

Which unfortunately stings.

Not equivalent to pissed.
No! it is always pissed off, always trying to prove Muslims wrong to the point that you have to find words to support those leaders who are committing the genocide and ethnic cleansing.

Truth is, the genocide and ethnic cleansing is real.

The only group of people who are openly supporting the genocide and ethnic cleansing are Indians, only the Hindutva ones.

So, who hurt ya?

Truth is, the genocide and ethnic cleansing is real.
That I agree.

Like decimating local cultures and traditions. In the name of arabic islam. Push back in either case is warranted.

As they say: The only thing necessary for the triumph of Evil is for Good men to do nothing. Something's gotta give.

So why doesnt Hamas come to the table to discuss? Simple question. Why dont they negotiate and talk ?

Israel have just violated the ceasefire a few days back killing hundreds of innocent children, women, Dr's, Aid workers.

You think a extremist organization like the IDF are in for peace?

Their sole aim is for total Annexation of the population to take the land and expand their illegal settlements

There is a reason why I don't discuss Palestine issues with Indians. They tend to be ignorant about it and they are too thick to correct that ignorance. :inti

One Indian guy once wrote Israelis were grabbing lands legally. I was speechless.

If you care about the Palestinian people you should be outraged when they are killed regardless of who does the killing, correct? There are multiple reports that Hamas is systematically killing the leaders of the protests against them in Gaza. Where is your outage? Where is your condemnation? Why are you not writing about this on social media?
Perhaps it’s because you only hate Israel and only care about Palestinian lives when it’s convenient for promoting this agenda.

If you really want what’s best for Palestinians, why dont you believe them when they tell you they want to be free of Hamas and support them in freeing themselves from Hamas’s power with the same strength and passion you have displayed against Israel, or admit that both you and Palestinians are a pawn in the game that hamas is playing against Israel and you continue look the other way when reality disagrees with your narrative . Hamas's charter says its goal is to wipe Israel off the map. So what do you have to say about that ?

Let me make it simple . Whose doing the wiping off the map?

Who is violating all international law?

Who is deliberately using sniper tactics to kill children?

Who is provided with billions of dollars worth of ammunition to carry on this mass genocide?

What is the Greater Israel plan?

As a normal citizen of the United Kingdom. I can only do what I'm empowered with.

Protests. And Boycott as many zionest extremists products as possible.

The bigger question for me is. Why are you a staunch sympathiser for oppressors and extremists like the Hindutwas and IDF

At one hand you are protesting to stop killing innocent Palestanians and other hand you are not demanding the hostages to be freed. As long as the hostages are not freed, Israel will continue to be offensive towards Palestine. You protest in Britain, a much weaker country to Israel, will make zero difference. The only way to stop this war is for Hamas to free the hostages.

Difference is, Israel did not ride Gaza and took those people as hostages. Those people were arrested in Israel for being there illegally and doing you know what.
Hamas entered Gaza and took innocents as hostages.

Independent Palestinian state in West Bank ‘not possible’: Israeli FM

When Israel’s foreign minister was asked by the French daily Le Figaro if there are plans to annex the occupied West Bank, he described the area as “disputed territories, not occupied ones”.

“For us, these are disputed territories, not occupied ones. We have often been ready to negotiate. But that’s not possible with the current Palestinian Authority,” Gideon Saar told the outlet.

“We don’t want to lead them. But an independent Palestinian state today in Judea and Samaria [the West Bank] is not possible, because it would be led by Hamas and would endanger Israel’s security.”

I don't understand why these Indians are so nosy about this Palestine-Israel issue.

They are not Muslims, Christians, Jews, Arabs, or Israelis. They have zero skin in the game. :inti
Nasty?

What do you expect the non-Islamic world to do? Support Hamas and their narrative? :facepalm

Even you have zero skin in the game. You are a Bangladeshi. 5000 miles away from Israel. But you still hate Israel because you follow the same religion as Hamas. Bangladeshis have nothing to do with Gazans and Israel.
One will not see the same outrage for African Muslims that are getting slaughtered everyday in their wars. But for Hamas, all of your hearts bleed. The only reason is, the one laying hammer are Jews. We can see through the hypocrisy.

All of pakistan is not atheist.

Munafiq yes.

It all boils down to practising what you preach. Actions should follow words. Else words are hollow.
So, are you saying that Pakistani Muslims who speak out against the genocide, vote for leaders promising to end the war, protest, and boycott, are all Munafiq?

Because from what I see, most of them are actually practicing what they preach.

Let me guess, your comeback will be something like, 'Then why are they still living in a country whose government supports the genocide?' lol.

The presumed laughter is your grief packaged as LOL.

You are helpless in this sense.

For over a year it's been all talk. The only action you did was pay more taxes to fund existence of a country you despise the most. It's comical indeed.

Feel sorry the Muslim minorities in india if the mentality of the Hindutwa is like this.

Agree. You would have thought with the history of the British empires history related to india and the oppression, they would have sided with the opressed. Maybe hindutwa Champions Colonial oppressors and wont mind a dose 🤔

I hold no hatred toward any country. I believe that living here and protesting is the most effective way to bring about change, so much so that the government resorts to illegally detaining protestors

The problem you’re facing is that deep down, you want to support the genocide, but you can’t find a justifiable way to defend it, so instead, you resort to wild projections, like asking irrelevant questions such as “why are you paying taxes?”

Israel has turned two-thirds of Gaza into no-go zones, UN says

Israel has now restricted Palestinians’ access to roughly two-thirds of Gaza, either by declaring large areas as no-go zones or issuing forced displacement orders, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

Among the restricted areas is a large swath of southern Rafah, where Israel’s military issued a new displacement order on March 31, declaring it was returning to “fight with great force”.

The restrictions also cover parts of Gaza City, where Israeli troops launched a new ground offensive on Friday morning to expand their “security zone”.

These escalations have triggered one of the largest mass displacements of the war, pushing hundreds of thousands of Palestinians – many already displaced multiple times – to flee yet again.

“Our biggest struggle now is displacement,” Abu Hazem Khalef, an elderly man displaced from Gaza City’s east, told Al Jazeera. “We have no idea how to handle this situation. I’m heading west of Gaza City, looking for any street where I can set up a tent.”

“We are being forced to leave and we don’t even know where to go,” added Mahmoud al-Gharabli, another displaced Palestinian. “We are exhausted and completely broken.”

Not wild one bit.

It's quite a factual indictment of your anomalous predicament.

Why pay taxes to fund existence of a nation that is committing genocide? Per your projection.

If you're questioning why someone would fund a nation through taxes, then by your own logic, why do you pay taxes in Pakistan, where your money helps repay IMF loans with interest, loans that come largely from the US, are you selectively moral, or just conveniently inconsistent?

Video footage appears to contradict Israeli account of Gaza medic killings

Mobile phone footage has emerged that appears to contradict Israel's account of why soldiers opened fire on a convoy of ambulances and a fire truck on March 23, killing 15 rescue workers.

The video, published by the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), shows the vehicles moving in darkness with headlights and emergency flashing lights switched on - before coming under fire. The PRCS said the video was obtained from the phone of a paramedic who was killed.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) initially denied the vehicles had their headlights or emergency signals on.

But in response to the new video, the IDF told the BBC: "All claims, including the documentation circulating about the incident, will be thoroughly and deeply examined to understand the sequence of events and the handling of the situation".

A surviving paramedic previously told the BBC that the ambulances were clearly marked and had their internal and external lights on.

The latest video, which the PRCS said had been shown to the UN Security Council, shows the marked vehicles drawing to a halt on the edge of the road, lights still flashing, and at least two emergency workers stepping out wearing reflective clothing.

The windscreen of the vehicle being filmed from is cracked and shooting can then be heard lasting for several minutes as the person filming says prayers. He is understood to be one of the dead paramedics.

The footage was found on his phone after his body was recovered from a shallow grave one week after the incident. The bodies of the eight paramedics, six Gaza Civil Defence workers and one UN employee were found buried in sand, along with their wrecked vehicles. It took international organisations days to negotiate safe access to the site.

Israel claimed a number of Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants had been killed in the incident, but it has not provided any evidence or further explained the threat to its troops.

Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Saar earlier this week echoed the army account, saying "the IDF did not randomly attack an ambulance".

The IDF promised to investigate the circumstances after a surviving paramedic questioned its account.

In an interview with the BBC, paramedic Munther Abed said: "During day and at night, it's the same thing. External and internal lights are on. Everything tells you it's an ambulance vehicle that belongs to the Palestinian Red Crescent. All lights were on until the vehicle came under direct fire."

He also denied he or his team had any militant connections.

"All crews are civilian. We don't belong to any militant group. Our main duty is to offer ambulance services and save people's lives. No more, no less," he said.

Speaking at the United Nations yesterday the President of the PRCS, Dr Younis Al-Khatib, referred to the video recording, saying: "I heard the voice of one of those team members who was killed. His last words before being shot…'forgive me mum, I just wanted to help people. I wanted to save lives'. It's heartbreaking".

He called for "accountability" and "an "independent and thorough investigation" of what he called an "atrocious crime".

One paramedic is still unaccounted for following the 23 March incident.

President Trump to host Netanyahu at White House Monday to talk Gaza war, tariffs

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to meet Monday with President Donald Trump at the White House, marking the second time Trump has hosted the Israeli leader since Trump's return to office.

The visit, confirmed by a White House official, comes as Israel has escalated attacks against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, forcing hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to seek shelter in one of the biggest mass displacements of the war.

President Donald Trump (R) meets with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, DC, on February 4, 2025. Netanyahu is expected to visit the White House on April 7, 2025, according to a senior US official.

Israel resumed military operations in Gaza on March 19 after a two-month ceasefire, which included the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners. The militant group Hamas did not respond to an Israeli proposal this week for a new ceasefire.

Along with the war in Gaza, the two leaders are expected to discuss Trump's recently announced tariffs that included a 17% duty on imports from Israel. Netanyahu will be the first world leader to have a chance to lobby Trump face-to-face to pull back on the historic tariffs, which upended global markets this week.

To try to avoid the tariffs, Israel had preemptively lifted all tariffs on U.S. exports. Despite Netanyahu's strong ties with Trump, those efforts did not dissuade the Trump administration, which cited "non-tariff barriers" from Israel such as intellectual property theft in addition to Israel's trade deficit with the U.S.

Israel admits mistakes over medic killings in Gaza

Israel's army has admitted its soldiers made mistakes over the killing of 15 emergency workers in southern Gaza on 23 March.

The convoy of Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulances, a UN car and a fire truck from Gaza's Civil Defence came under fire near Rafah.

Israel originally claimed troops opened fire because the convoy approached "suspiciously" in darkness without headlights or flashing lights. It said movement of the vehicles had not been previously co-ordinated or agreed with the army.

Mobile phone footage, filmed by one of the paramedics who was killed, showed the vehicles did have lights on as they answered a call to help wounded people.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) insists at least six of the medics were linked to Hamas - but has so far provided no evidence. It admits they were unarmed when the soldiers opened fire.

The mobile video, originally shared by the New York Times, shows the vehicles pulling up on the road when, without warning, shooting begins just before dawn.

The footage continues for more than five minutes, with the paramedic, named as Refat Radwan, heard saying his last prayers before the voices of Israeli soldiers are heard approaching the vehicles.

An IDF official briefed journalists on Saturday evening, saying the soldiers had earlier fired on a car containing three Hamas members.

When the ambulances responded and approached the area, aerial surveillance monitors informed the soldiers on the ground of the convoy "advancing suspiciously".

When the ambulances stopped beside the Hamas car, the soldiers assumed they were under threat and opened fire, despite no evidence any of the emergency team was armed.

Israel has admitted its earlier account claiming the vehicles approached without lights was inaccurate, attributing the report to the troops involved.

The video footage shows the vehicles were clearly marked and the paramedics wore reflective hi-vis uniform.

The soldiers buried the bodies of the 15 dead workers in sand to protect them from wild animals, the official said, claiming the vehicles were moved and buried the following day to clear the road.

They were not uncovered until a week after the incident because international agencies, including the UN, could not organise safe passage to the area or locate the spot.

When an aid team found the bodies they also discovered Refat Radwan's mobile phone containing footage of the incident.

The Israeli military official denied any of the medics were handcuffed before they died and said they were not executed at close range, as some reports had suggested.

Earlier this week, a surviving paramedic told the BBC the ambulances had their lights on and denied his colleagues were linked with any militant group.

The IDF promised a "thorough examination" of the incident, saying it would "understand the sequence of events and the handling of the situation".

The Red Crescent and many other international organisations are calling for an independent investigation.

Israel renewed its aerial bombardment and ground offensive in Gaza on 18 March after the first phase of a ceasefire deal came to an end and negotiations on a second phase stalled.

More than 1,200 people have since been killed in Gaza since then, according to the territory's Hamas-run health ministry.

The Israeli military launched a campaign to destroy Hamas in response to an unprecedented cross-border attack on 7 October 2023, in which about 1,200 people were killed and 251 were taken hostage.

More than 50,600 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the territory's health ministry.

Mass protests in Morocco against Israel’s war in Gaza and US support

In one of the country’s largest demonstrations in months, protesters filled the streets of the capital Rabat.

Tens of thousands of Moroccans have taken to the streets to protest against Israel’s punishing assault on Gaza and its people, also directing their anger at the United States and its support for the 18-month-long war.

In one of the country’s largest demonstrations in months, protesters filled areas of the capital Rabat on Sunday, trampling on Israeli flags, holding banners of assassinated Hamas leaders, and waving posters combining displaced Palestinians with US President Donald Trump.

Organisers denounced Israel’s military campaign, which has killed more than 1,000 Palestinians, and displaced hundreds of thousands again, since it shattered a ceasefire with intensive air and ground attacks last month.

Since the war began, more than 50,700 Palestinians have been killed and more than 115,300 have been wounded.

The Morocco protests echoed similar demonstrations across the Middle East and North Africa, where pro-Palestinian rallies took place in Tunisia, Yemen, and Morocco’s economic hub, Casablanca.

Fury with Washington has been at the fore, particularly over Trump’s proposal to forcibly relocate Palestinians to make way for the redevelopment of Gaza. Arab nations have decried the plan, and rights groups have called it ethnic cleansing. Protesters also condemned US crackdowns on pro-Palestinian activism on university campuses.

‘Gaza is being wiped off the map’

Many Moroccans view Trump’s stance as a continuation of policies under his predecessor, former US President Joe Biden.

“[Trump] has made the war worse,” said Mohammed Toussi, who travelled from Casablanca with his family to join the protest, speaking to the Associated Press news agency.

“Biden hid some things, but Trump has shown it all,” he added, arguing that their policies differ in tone but not in substance.

Abdelhak El Arabi, an adviser to Morocco’s former conservative prime minister, said public outrage had only grown as the war dragged on.

“It’s not a war — Gaza is being wiped off the map,” said the 62-year-old resident of Tamesna, speaking to AP.

A broad coalition of groups joined the protests. While Moroccan authorities tolerate most demonstrations, they have arrested activists accused of targeting foreign embassies or linking their criticism to the monarchy.

Many demonstrators remain angered by Morocco’s 2020 decision to normalise ties with Israel, a move that sparked controversy at the time and continues to fuel discontent.

Morocco signed the Abraham Accords, a foreign policy push from the first Trump administration, that saw the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Sudan normalise relations with Israel in return for various diplomatic and financial agreements.

Nevertheless, public feeling towards Israel has rarely been conciliatory in Morocco, as in many Arab states.

PRCS demands independent probe into Israel’s killing of Gaza medics

Journalists killed, wounded in Israeli attack near Gaza’s Nasser Hospital

The Palestine Red Crescent Society’s president has called for an independent international inquiry into the “deliberate killing” of 15 humanitarian personnel last month in an attack by Israeli forces in Gaza.

Israel pounds Gaza, bombing a tent housing journalists near Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, killing at least two people and wounding nine others.

Israeli forces have also shot and killed a Palestinian-American boy in the occupied West Bank and killed two others in southern Lebanon.
US forces have killed at least four people in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa.

Gaza’s Health Ministry says at least 50,695 Palestinians are confirmed dead and 115,338 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza. The Government Media Office updated its death toll to more than 61,700, saying thousands of people missing under the rubble are presumed dead.
At least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led October 7, 2023 attacks and more than 200 were taken captive.

How many bodies do we hand over?’

As the UN estimates that 100 children have been killed a day in Gaza since Israel resumed its war, Palestinians tell Al Jazeera about the impact of an attack on Khan Younis on Sunday night that killed and maimed several children.

“We were shocked to see that all of those martyred were children. Very few survived with injuries. All of those targeted were children. Here is my cousin. May God bless her soul. She is a child,” said a man who travelled in an ambulance with the body of his young cousin.

“All the ones they’re targeting are children. They have nothing to do with the resistance or the fighting. There was no warning.”

Another man, carrying an injured child, said, “Enough! … You either slaughter us once and for all, or you stop the bloodshed at once. Enough. Hand over more? What more do you want me to hand over? After 51,000 killed. How many bodies do we hand over?

“We will not call on the Arab countries … we will not appeal to them. We call on the rest of the non-Muslim world. Find us a solution. Hunger, thirst, death, and slaughter. Why? What did we do?”

Israeli strike on hospital camp used by Gaza journalists kills 10 people

An Israeli airstrike on a tent camp within a hospital complex in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis has killed 10 people, including a journalist, while seriously injuring dozens more after their encampment caught fire.

Images and video from the courtyard of Nasser hospital in Khan Younis showed people desperately attempting to extinguish the fires as it burned through a row of tents. One video showed people screaming as a bystander attempted to move a burning piece of furniture, while a journalist, later identified as Ahmed Mansour of the news outlet Palestine Today, sat upright engulfed by the blaze.

His colleague Helmi al-Faqawi was killed in the strike, while at least nine other journalists were among the wounded. Mansour received treatment for severe burns while the photographer Hassan Aslih was reportedly in a stable condition after suffering a head injury and cuts to his right hand.

The Palestinian foreign ministry in Ramallah said 10 people had been killed in the airstrike, with many more wounded. The ministry called al-Faqawi’s death an act of “extrajudicial killing,” labelling it part of growing crimes against journalists and an attempt to prevent the media from covering events on the ground.

Dozens of journalists in Gaza joined al-Faqawi’s relatives to bury the slain reporter in the hours after the attack, placing a blue flak jacket on top of the white shroud covering his body on a stretcher. His killing has brought the number of Palestinian journalists killed since October 2023 to 207, according to the Palestinian foreign ministry in the occupied West Bank.

“We will continue to deliver the message and convey the truth to the whole world. This is our humanitarian duty,” the journalist Abd Shaat told Reuters. He said that the noise of the airstrike had woken them, only for them to see that a nearby tent sheltering their colleagues was on fire.

Since the beginning of Israel’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip hundreds of people have sought shelter in encampments in hospital grounds across the besieged territory, hoping that proximity will provide a measure of safety.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency said the airstrike on the hospital grounds was targeting Aslih, whom they accused of being a member of Hamas. In a statement, the IDF accused Aslih of taking part in Hamas’s attack on a string of Israeli towns and kibbutzim on 7 October 2023, when 1,200 people were killed and 250 taken hostage.

He took part in the attack by uploading “footage of looting, arson and murder to social media”, the IDF said. Aslih has documented the impact of Israeli attacks on Gaza by uploading photos and video to his Instagram page, followed by 571,000 people.

His most recent post showed the funeral of the journalist Islam Miqdad, her blue flak jacket also draped across the white shroud over her body, in a burial ritual for journalists. Miqdad was killed in an attack on the building where she was sheltering with her young son in western Khan Younis.

“My daughter is innocent. She had no involvement, she loved journalism and adored it,” Miqdad’s mother Amal Kaskeen told the Associated Press.

Last year was the deadliest on record for journalists, with Israel responsible for 70% of the total deaths of media workers, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ). Israel’s assault on Gaza claimed the lives of 82 Palestinian journalists in 2024, according to CPJ.

Israel resumed airstrikes on Gaza after a fragile ceasefire collapsed last month. The UN’s agency for Palestinian refugees said another 142,000 people were displaced in just six days in March after the resumption of fighting.

Fifty-nine hostages, including 24 understood to be alive, are still held by militants in Gaza. Israel’s assault on the territory has killed more than 50,000 Palestinians in 18 months of war, a third of them children, according to the health ministry in Ramallah.

Israel pounds Gaza; Trump, Netanyahu discuss displacing Palestinians

Israeli forces continue bombarding Gaza, killing at least 19 Palestinians since dawn across the enclave, according to the Civil Defence.
Ahmed Mansour, a journalist who suffered severe burns in Monday’s Israeli attack on a media tent near Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis, has died of his wounds, taking the toll from that assault to at least three.

US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have met at the White House and discussed countries that would be “amenable” to taking Palestinians forcibly displaced from Gaza.

Which ever way you want to get out of it its upto you.

Were the pti supporters not vouching for trump so he can get imran khan released?

PDM poodles slated imran for the " Absolutely not" issue. Yet they bent over for Biden to carry out Drones on innocent civilians which included women and children.

Imran the only muslim leader who at UN Stood up for Kashmir and the Palestinians

I don't reply to criminals so will just address you instead....

I'm a PTI supporter and I absolutely do not support Trump.
What is more, family and friends living in USA who support PTI also didn't vote for Trump.

So that puts an end to that posters argument. Just a whole lot of stinky hot air like you said.

Not worth replying to these people, for them Pakistan only amounts to one province, and their own friends and families who can benefit from the gravy train. Other provinces can go up in an earthquake for all they care, some of them would rather align with sworn enemies of the country rather than lose their own little plots of the country.

Yes. I guess your right. No point hitting a dead end!

No one on this forum (including you) has any skin in the game, yet there are multiple threads with thousands of post on this issue.

Its a genocide of the colored people at the hands of the last colonial post, everyone has a skin in this game unless of course someone belongs from a particular sect in India.

So where is the outrage where close to a million were killed in Syria?? Not a word, not a peep. Hundreds of thousands?? No support or aid for them. Where is the ummah in this? Thousands killed in Nigeria by boko Haram. Where's the outrage?? China kills and oppressed Thousands of uiyughurs . Again where's the outrage? Or is it selective??

Gaza is a 'killing field', says UN chief, as agencies urge world to act on Israel's blockade

The UN's secretary-general says "aid has dried up [and] the floodgates of horror have re-opened" in the Gaza Strip, where Israel has blocked the entry of all goods and resumed the war against Hamas.

"Gaza is a killing field, and civilians are in an endless death loop," António Guterres said on Tuesday.

His comments come after the heads of six UN agencies appealed to world leaders to act urgently to ensure food and supplies reached Palestinians there.

Israel's foreign ministry insisted there was enough food in Gaza and accused Guterres of "spreading slander against Israel".

Israel blockaded Gaza on 2 March, after the first stage of a ceasefire expired. Hamas refused to extend that part of the truce, accusing Israel of reneging on its commitments.

Israel then renewed its aerial bombardment and ground offensive on 18 March and these have since killed 1,449 Palestinians, according to the Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza. The Israeli military insists it does not target civilians.

In his address to journalists, Guterres said Israel, as the occupying power, had obligations under international law to ensure that food and medical supplies get to the population.

"The current path is a dead end – totally intolerable in the eyes of international law and history," he said.

Responding to the comments, Israel's foreign ministry said there was no aid shortage in Gaza.

"As always, you don't let the facts get in the way when spreading slander against Israel," spokesman Oren Marmorstein said.

"There is no shortage of humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip - over 25,000 aid trucks have entered the Gaza Strip in the 42 days of the cease fire," he added.

Guterres's comments followed a joint statement issued by six UN agencies on Monday that said world leaders must act urgently to make sure food and aid supplies get to Palestinians in the Strip.

Gazans were "trapped, bombed and starved again", the statement said.

"The latest ceasefire allowed us to achieve in 60 days what bombs, obstruction and lootings prevented us from doing in 470 days of war: life-saving supplies reaching nearly every part of Gaza," it said.

"While this offered a short respite, assertions that there is now enough food to feed all Palestinians in Gaza are far from the reality on the ground, and commodities are running extremely low."

The statement was signed by the heads of:

  • OCHA - UN's Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs
  • Unicef - UN's children's agency
  • WFP - World Food Programme
  • WHO - World Health Organization
  • Unrwa - UN agency for Palestinian refugees
  • UNOPS - UN Office for Project Services
Because of the blockade, all UN-supported bakeries have closed, markets are empty of most fresh vegetables and hospitals are rationing painkillers and antibiotics.

The statement says that Gaza's "partially functional health system is overwhelmed [and]... essential medical and trauma supplies are rapidly running out."

"With the tightened Israeli blockade on Gaza now in its second month, we appeal to world leaders to act – firmly, urgently and decisively – to ensure the basic principles of international humanitarian law are upheld.

"Protect civilians. Facilitate aid. Release hostages. Renew a ceasefire."

The two-month pause in fighting saw a surge in humanitarian aid let into Gaza, as well as the release by Hamas of 33 hostages - eight of them dead - in exchange for about 1,900 Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.

On Tuesday, Gaza's Hamas-run health ministry said at least 58 people had been killed in the territory over the previous 24 hours.

Israeli strikes overnight killed 19 people, including five children whose home in the central town of Deir al-Balah was hit, according to the Hamas-run Civil Defence agency.

Another 11 people were reportedly killed in two separate strikes in the northern town of Beit Lahia and an area north-west of Gaza City.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS) said a second Palestinian journalist had died of the wounds following an Israeli strike on Monday.

Ahmed Mansour suffered severe burns when a media tent in the southern city Khan Younis was hit, also killing his Palestine Today colleague Helmi al-Faqaawi.

The Israeli military said the strike targeted a third journalist, Hassan Eslaih, whom it accused of being a "Hamas terrorist". The PJS said Eslaih was in a critical condition following the attack, along with several other journalists.

The war was triggered by Hamas's unprecedented attack on Israel on 7 October 2023, in which about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others taken back to Gaza as hostages.

More than 50,810 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli offensive since then, according to Gaza's health ministry.

Israeli strike kills 26 people in Gaza neighborhood, medics say

An Israeli airstrike killed at least 26 Palestinians, including children, in a house in Shujaiya in Gaza City, local health authorities said on Wednesday.

Medics said dozens of others were wounded in the attack that hit a multi-floor residential building in the eastern suburb of Gaza City. They said many were still believed to be missing and trapped under the ruins of the building. The strike damaged several other houses nearby, medics said.

There was no immediate comment from the Israeli army.

Last week, the military ordered Shujaiya residents to evacuate, saying forces intended to operate against militants in the area.

Israel last month resumed its bombardment of Gaza after a two-month truce and sent troops back into the enclave. The health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza said Israeli military strikes have killed at least 1,400 people since March 18, when Israel renewed the attacks.

The armed wings of Hamas and the Islamic Jihad shortly afterwards resumed firing rockets into Israeli territory.

Israel and Hamas have traded blame over the stalemate in the ceasefire talks. Arab mediators, Qatar and Egypt, backed by the United States, have stepped up efforts to restore calm but have so far failed to bridge the gap between the warring parties.

Israel’s war in Gaza was triggered in October 2023, when Hamas fighters killed 1,200 people in southern Israel and took some 250 hostages, according to Israeli tallies.

Since then, more than 50,800 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s military campaign, Palestinian authorities have said.

Why are you butting in between random posts without making any sense?

First read the post I quoted and let the guy reply to it.
You have already been proven as a genocidal maniac who supports killing of innocents from our previous interactions, so nothing you say means anything to me unless you first change your terrorist mindset, become a better human and regret your past statements. Till you do that, I have no intention to even talk to maniacs like you.

Genocide maniac? That’s rich coming from someone who dismissed atrocities with a shrug, saying, “we have no skin in the game.” That’s not neutrality, that’s passive endorsement. Criticizing those who speak out while staying silent yourself isn’t just cowardice, it’s complicity.

What really stings is being called out, because when your bigotry, both subtle and blatant, is exposed, you do what’s become all too predictable, play the victim, cry “Hindu hater,” or worse, dehumanize others like your buddies @cricketjoshila and @uppercut. Now here you are, flipping the script and calling everyone who holds you accountable a “genocide maniac.” The projection is embarrassing.

I’ve been vocal, unwavering, and on the right side of history. Imagine if our ancestors were anything like you when they stood against colonial powers, silent, indifferent, eager to appease. Thank God the likes of you were in the minority. Otherwise, we’d still be bowing to empire.

You’re not important. You're a random name in a sea of usernames. No one owes you emotional attachment. No one here needs to care. This isn’t about you, it’s about what’s right. So take your outrage, package it with your guilt, and deal with it.

I, and anyone who speaks out against genocide, ethnic cleansing, and occupation, will always be the better human than someone who sneers from the sidelines with, why are you even talking about it, you have no skin in the game.”

If standing against oppression requires justification, while staying silent or mocking those who speak up earns applause in your world, then your morality isn't broken, it's nonexistent.

Some of us choose to be human. You chose to be a bystander.

That’s the difference. And that’s where the conversation ends.

Enjoy your time here and don't get bent out of shape when your passive support for the genocide and last colonial post is called out.

You can go back and read our past interactions where you were exposed as a genocidal maniac and terrorist sympathiser.

You are the last person on these forums who would be considered as “human” .

I don’t read your interactions with the people you tagged nor do I follow their posts, so that’s between you and them.

The interactions I had with you in the past showed me what kind of a person you are who is as evil as the people doing the genocide if not more.

Do you condemn the zionest extremists acts of Genocidal actions ?

Any act of killing innocents should be condemned and no decent human will support any such act.

Israel’s actions killing innocent lives should be condemned and people behind murder of innocents should be put behind bars for life.

Now since you butted in randomly, do you condemn Hamas and Arab leaders of past and present who led hands are filled with blood of innocents as well, or are you one of those who justify hamas/arabs killing innocents?

I’m genuinely glad you don’t interact with my posts, because if you did, I wouldn’t just be ridiculing you, I’d be tearing apart every self righteous word you type. Especially when you say things like, “why are you speaking against genocide, you have no skin in the game,” while trying to perch yourself on some imaginary moral pedestal.

Newsflash, staying silent in the face of injustice isn’t virtue it’s cowardice dressed up as neutrality.

So stay in your bubble. It's safer there.

Find the receipt of me supporting the genocide. lol

I condemn all killing of INNOCENTS. But lets be realistic here. IDF'S Acts of Terror for best part of 100 years then compared to what Hamas has done is chalk and cheese.

The last we interacted after couple of posts back and forth when you didn’t have anything to say and no counters, you started your whatabouttism and ended up showing your true colours by wanting to kill innocents and being a genocidal maniac.

If mods haven’t deleted your previous posts, you can go back and search for yourself, whoever read that exchange already knows you as a terrorist sympathiser/genocidal maniac.

Dude, you're accusing me of supporting genocide? Cool then produce the receipt. I’ve called you out for passively supporting it, and the proof is right here in this thread.

So go on, fetch. I’ll wait.

This you got 💯 percent 🤣🤣🤣
Mullah Mufti Emran Abbas, you labeled me a Hindu like it’s some kind of insult, just because I don’t support PMLN or Pakistan’s military elite. That says more about your mindset than mine.

You’ve practically issued a fatwa against anyone who doesn’t bow to the PMLN or the Army’s chosen “Hafiz.”

Newsflash, disagreement isn’t blasphemy. Dissent isn’t betrayal. And your twisted logic? That’s the real embarrassment.

Do yourself a favor, don’t dig deeper.

It’s not an accusation, it’s a fact which has been proven months ago.

You can feign ignorance now but fact is everyone who read that exchange know your true colours and if these forums didn’t have such relaxed rules for exchanges and were strictly regulated you would have been banned right there and then.

Next time when you butt in random exchanges and just quote someone randomly without any context, make sure they don’t remember your past actions and expose you once again.

Produce the receipt that I support genocide, because I already have yours.

You don’t get to declare things as facts without evidence. You’re not Trump, and you’re definitely not Modi.

I backed my claims. You, on the other hand, called people “genocide maniacs” just for speaking out, while passively, cowardly, getting upset at anyone who dares to call it what it is.

The irony? You’re not just on the wrong side, you’re loud about it.

This is my last comment to you. Until you bring receipts, go engage with your own echo chamber so you can keep feeling good about your perverted sense of morality.

I don't have issue with who you fall in line with or not you pti supporters started it with your bullying tactics in suthra punjab thread which obviously didn't work and now your acting like a victim and everyone of you are running away from me 🤣🤣🤣

My loyalties? What you talkling about I don't support any political party but I do hate pti and its supporters

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You don't support any political party is the biggest codswallop I've seen on these boards.

Iinfact your affiliation is so strong, you resort to personal attacks when anyone tries to scrutinize them
