Misbah was never a stubborn man during his captaincy. He would always listen to other peoples ideas and implement on them.
He said this many times in interviews that there are often disagreements in team selection, and sometimes your selections could pay off or sometimes the selectors selection could pay off.
The best example of this is sarfraz ahmed. Misbah was probably convinced by moin khan to use him and look where the guy is now.

I agree that Waqar was a bad couch. He failed terribly.
However shouldn't he work as a director in PCB? I mean old people like Haroon Rashid gets promotion after promotion, while 90 batch cricketers like Aqib, Akhtar, Waqar, Wasim, Rashid Latif spends time on commentary or coaching Associate teams.
Waqar worked as couch, thus he know PCB flaws well. we need energetic peoople like him.
Also give roles to Misbah and Younus. No point in couching Afghanistan and helping other nation instead of Pakistan.
