Thought this would be an interesting comparison, both are terrific but Jazzy B is better in my opinion and my favourite out of the two.

Along with Sukshinder Shina, Jazzy B changed the Punjabi music industry entirely (Shout out to Dr Zeus and RDB in this regard to) even though I am slightly biased in their favour given their origins / influence in my city KingKhanWC. But the Punjabi music scene during the early 2000's here in the UK was buzzing, it was a bit of a golden age and we were very lucky.

Can't think of a Punjabi album which I enjoyed more then Romeo in 2004. But out of the current crop Bilal Saeed is quality and the only non-English singer I tend to listen.

Jazzy b .Those days when hair gel was new thing to us during our high school
I still remember how our hair style and music in punjab was influenced by jazzy b.
Ni tu romeo banake munde rkhte..rkhte...romeo bnake munde rkhte....hor v bhut vdiya songs ne ehde..
Bilah saeed last year song named no make up is very good as well...

Punjabi music during those days was quality, I was a big fan of RDB as well:

Out of the current lot only Bilal Saeed compares for me. And yeah, Jazzy B use to spike his hair with gel before it even got cool :))

Canada makes it on the track to with your greatest export Roach Killa :)) Syed1 aliasad1998 he has a better resume then Drake over the past 15 years :yk2

Bhangra really came to life and took off in the late 90's. It was around in the mid 90s with bands like The Sahotas coming to fame. But yes in 2000's it went to a different level esp with the likes of Jazzy B who added more bass and beats to the traditional sounds of instruments. Birmingham was definitely rocking with a new genre of music, the reggae and dance influence entered into the Asian music scene. 2nd generation kids grew up and made their own identity, with the likes of Bally Sagoo and Apache Indian helping the music to grow rapidly.

I find Bilal Saeed a real talent, his vocals are great and his productions are of a good quality. Im not sure how big he is in Pakistan or if he does any live shows there, would love to see him live.

It's a hard choice but I would go with Jazzy B because he was a pioneer.

Bilal saeed all the way. I don't Like this jazzy B guy. I hardly listen Punjabi music now a days apart from satinder sartaj who is just class apart from all these so called singers.Amrinder gill is another one who has beautiful voice.

Well said, Birmingham's own Sukshinder Shinda took Punjabi music to another level during the 2000's. The fusion artists were also a beautiful reflection of the city's multiculturalism and diversity which the world benefited from when it came to those pioneering Punjabi albums. Same here, Jazzy B edges it for me and it is a hard choice between the two though; Bilal is one of a kind in this era and his vocals compare to the greatest of all time.

This was a great duet:

Arminder Gill was quality to:

Jazzy B was pretty good in early 2000's. Now he isn't that special. Bilal Saeed is a better singer these days.

Guys like Jazzy B, Babbu Mann have lost their charm.

That was Jazzy B's prime, when it comes to singers it is useless comparing what they are doing at present to 10-15 years ago :mv look at Eminem for example, the stuff he is releasing these days is atrocious compared to his brilliant releases in the past. Artists generally have a peak which ends around about the age of 30-34 , this is when the desire is there, creative juices are flowing and they are in touch with their era.

Nice tracks those.

Birmz has a great culture of music. We also have the great UB40 . The mixing of cultures has caused music to mx with it's beats. It doesn't happen elsewhere, they just badly copy.
