England are getting two big guns ready for the 2024 World Cup! They are coming hard with two brutal players in Butler and Salt. A powerful opening pair in world cricket!

Phil Salt is an extremely underrated player who’s not had enough chances, but is as capable of tearing apart bowling attacks like Butler is. He pulverising Pakistan in the 7 match T20 series in 2022.

Frightening pair!

This is the most destructive opening pair but I don't know why Salt doesn't get consistent chances from England.

Catching up as one of the great opening pair swiftly.

Do you guys think they can break Babar and Rizwan's record?

Lol as if that’s a record they are chasing or care about. They are here to end bowling careers….not chase stats
When you achieve any record for yourself doesn't it belong to your country and make them proud?

well another debate!

Hopefully u got my point.

Phil and jos can be the most destructive pair no doubt about it but will they be consistent as well?
Babar-rizwan duo has been consistent but yes Phil salt and jos will have more impact than the other openers because of their fearless approach, they might fail to do so but in the t20s that is the way to go.

Phil Salt has been in smashing form recently and we all know what Jos Buttler can do so yes, we are going to see them as a destruction pair in T20 cricket.

England opener Phil Salt's incredible form and fantastic tour of West Indies has propelled the opener to second on the ICC Men's T20I batting rankings, and a career high rating of 802.

Butler and Salt.

Let’s break bowling careers…not records!

Buttler looks uncomfortable, perhaps because he's still thinking about the ouster of Rajasthan Royals from the IPL. and Salt looks calm as he doesn't care about final of IPL for KKR

Butler is such a good player when onsong.

As a batter, he never slogs. None of his strokes are ever ugly. Their pure classy cover drives or straight drives against pace, and just proper orthodox pull strokes etc etc.

Not to say he doesn't play unorthodox, he's probs the 2nd best unorthodox player I've seen after de villers.

Even against spin, playing cut shots, using the feet, solid head movements etc.

It's just timing, class And power with this guy. With Phil Salt, Phil and jacks look like power hitter who sometimes slog and rely on lofted strokes but you can tell Butler is truly world class and just a class apart from everyone.

An atg wk bat for England and a class captain who leads from the front. He's also the most improved captain, you can tell he's a different beast from 2023 wc

England should get in Ben Duckett too. Bairstow and Brook are not T20 material.
They need to kick out Chris Jordan too. He is worse than Vijay Shankar.

Butler and Salt followed by explosive middle order having Will Jacks, Brook, Livingstone, Bairstow, Moeen and Curran.. Even their tail enders can bat, Jordan, Archer, Rashid, Wood, Woakes and Hartley 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ No way to escape

Definitely, they are one of the most aggressive batters atm in T20s. Both of them like to go all guns blazing from ball number 1. No escape from these 2 if they are in form.

50 up for the brothers of destruction in just 4.3 overs against Pakistan in the 4th T20I
