Kamran and Umar Akmal should be drafted for the 2019 World Cup on an emergency basis

Kami is one of the best domestic opener in Pakistan and recently scored a 200 too i guess but problem is he cant keep nor field.

English conditions would have been ideal for him but he is too old now and was not in our WC plans.

Kamran was given a chance 18 months ago because of his prolific domestic form. In 3 ODI's against the weak WI, he could only manage 68 runs. And he is such a liability on the field that if he doesn't produce with the bat immediately, he has to be kept out

Sarfraz ain’t going anywhere not till after the WC

I’m not saying this line up will win us the World Cup. But it will surely get us further ahead and actually fight In Games. We actually have specialist batsman and specialist bowlers in the side with two all rounder spinners. In a ideal world we’d drop Sarfraz who’s a dud with the bat and drink In a specialist spinner and have Akmal keep and Hafeez Captain.

I don't think Pakistan needs either of them. Fakhar, Imam, Babar, Hafeez, Malik, Sarfaraz, Shan Masood et all will do good in the world cup. The pitches will be batting friendly and Fakhar can get off to some good starts on those pitches.

And for the record, he has already proved his ability, credentials against the top sides and top bowlers in fast bowling conditions.

These are only stats , we have followed him around all his career and well know that the guy does not have cricketing sense to tackle any situation in the middle. Performance is the only criterion though and the guy fails that criterion badly. You may come up with a million excuses for his bad performance blaming every other person on earth but himself. At best an ashraful level player was hyped up by us as some second incarnation of tendulker. Wake up and look towards future , akmal was a bad dream of past.

I can understand Umar Akmal, there are still has some positive memories attached to his batting and in theory, he could be a good #6 and decent keeper.

Yes, we need Kamran and Umar back! They are much better than these mugs like Sarfraz, Malik, and Imam. We also need Saqlain and Abdur Rehman back! They can be the spinners that will make this side more complette!

Yes! We really need Umar Akmal for the World Cup in England. Hopefully he has a great PSL. He can fit into the upper/middle and lower order. We need a second keeper in the team and Umar can do the job. He can Open, bat in the middle or play the finishing role at no.6.

Hopefully Micky and Umar resolve their issues, and we get to see an Umar Akmal 2.0 in the upcoming World Cup.

People were laughing at me for suggesting it, but Kamran still holds his own and Umar is also performing in the PSL.

Are they really worse than the inept middle order of Malik, Hafeez etc?.

One performance doesn't guarantee anything. These TTFs have to perform well in 7 out off 10 games of PSL to be even considered.
