Karachi need Sharjeel and Walton to start pulling their weight with the bat.

Amir, Imad, and Noor Ahmed need to take wickets.

Do or die game for KK while QG will be looking to go off on a high, could be a close game

Must win for KK ,think they will seal the deal with a clinical performance today.

LQ will obviously be cheering for QG because if KK wins LQ will have to miss out.

Karachi Kings win the toss and elect to bat first in their match against Quetta Gladiators

Karachi has good batting lineup. Sharjeel, Babar, Guptill, Zadran and Walton.

Ramiz starts with a great cover drive:

“Abdul Nasir Jaan and Naseem Khan” :smith

Sarfaraz not even looking at his bowlers anymore, seems really disappointed

Decent opening spell from Naseem with pace in this heat

One expects better accuracy from an Aussie pacer than what Wildermauth has shown here. Ordinary first two overs

Abdul Nasir has pretty decent action, can bat too. Deserves a look in the main regional squad of Balochistan especially considering they didnt have an offie, he was part of the additional players in 2020 season.

Quetta has no motivation to win the match today..won't be surprised if KK win it easy and Lahoris go out.

Really good bowling from Abdul Nasir so far, conceding just 6 runs in 2 overs. Definitely deserved more games.

Aarish takes Guptill on debut on his first ball

Why werent QG playing Arish Ali and Abdul Nasir earlier? :shezzy2

Hasan Khan has not lived his earlier hype, he has been pretty disappointing.

I think he has worked on his batting (Played some impressive knocks in the last white ball season for Sindh) but, his bowling has become stagnant. He needs to become a regular performer atleast in one facet by working hard on that because, so far he is kind of a bits and pieces cricketer.

Another one for Arish.

QG must be pondering over how have they misused their resources in PSL 6.

What kind of bowler is arish? Spinner or pacer? Not watching the matcg just following commentary

How is it possible to just come at the crease and start hitting sixes for fun like Danish Aziz is doing .. does he have a reputation for doing it ? Looks so easy batting in the middle.

It's so stupid he played ODI's when his average in List A is so horrendous.

Outstanding T20 record and he is showing why. I still think he is a pretty poor batsmen if you bowl short stuff at him though.

He is an experienced first class cricketer. Not over hyped newbies like Haider or Azam.

He was used wrongly I guess. Looks more like Harris Sohail type player. Also it was his first outing so may be pressure. Short balls is definitely his weakness.

Wildermauth has been exposed big time here. Naseem’s muscle cramp has turned out to be really costly for QG

Unknown Khurram outperforming experienced FC cricketer of Aus Wildermauth who had an economy of 7.42 in BBL.

Danish was lucky to get all boxes ticked today. Nothing extraordinary about him.

However, Khurram Shehzad is continuing to impress. Looks good prospect.

As in his weakness is short balls like Haris? Otherwise do not see this comparison at all.

Can slog it pretty clean though and his near 40 AVG & 140 SR suggest he can be a solid T20 player. FC & List A format suggest he shouldn't even be a consideration for those squads.

Weird comparison. In IPL bowlers like Rabada and Cummins get thrashed for a fun and local players like Unadkat, Thakur etc have been impressive.

KK has this in the bag now. QG just look like a team that wants to go home now. LQ will most likely be out, at one point they were at the top of the table with ten points but they have lost all their games since then and will most likely be out now.

Not concluding anything. Just stating a fact based upon the match.

QG really let that slip.

They had KK in all sorts of trouble yet let them finish on 176/7.

This Danish Aziz is a very poor batsman. He averages 18 with 103 strike rate in t20s.One of the worst batsman ever.

I think you are mixing up formats. What he averages in 4 day cricket is irrelevant to his T20 performance. No body wants him anywhere near a test side.

On the other hand his T20 average is around 40 with a healthy strike rate, that makes this guy a viable option for T20Is.

Thats some shot from Saim Ayub.

Good to see some young Pak batsmen finding their feet.

Sarfaraz is a lot more likable when he isn't constantly yelling at his bowlers.

Unfortunately time and time again we have seen young Pakistani batsmen get off to a good start and then play a reckless hack when there’s no need. Saim was set for a decent score.

I wonder if Arshad and Haris will get the same hate as Amir for bowling trash or iis it only exclusive to Amir?
