Babar needs to learn when to pace the innings - this is the problem with almost every PAK top order player. Today, KK could have easily been 10-15 runs more had Babar paced his innings, considering that KK has Sohail at 10.

His first 23-25 balls was no issues, but he delayed to pace up - it's not about ability, rather being slow in the maths. A team having Imad, Amir & Sohail at 8, 9, 10 should never think of running out of wickets, once they are just 2 down after PP.

Karachi have made the same mistake as the international team does. Don't play the slow scoring guy up the order in a crucial position. You have to give your best, quickest scorers more of a share of the innings. Even in ODIs, especially in T20s. We did the same with Asad up the order playing in ODIs as we deemed he couldn't play down the order.

Just play the slower scorer down the order. Use him as someone who can recover an innings if things go wrong.
