Could go either way, both Khamzat and DDP are very unpredictable despite vastly different styles, that’s what makes this fight excitingKhamzat most probably the new champion, he is a great wrestler and decent striker

Khamzat looking too overconfident, hope he doesn't lose focus. He must end fight early or else DDP will start catching upCould go either way, both Khamzat and DDP are very unpredictable despite vastly different styles, that’s what makes this fight exciting
Khazmat practiced going full vicera on his opponent something most indian members here like from pakistani supportersView attachment 156957
In the words of the GOAT martial artist himself. It just so happens Khazmat’s ground work is that one kick which has been practiced over & over again….
The first proper title fight I’ve seen from the UFC in some time & I’ve not seen a fighter get dominated like that in an undisputed world championship bout; the only elite level pedigree I saw from DDP was his mental toughness, we saw two boxer’s die due to injuries sustained in the ring in the space of a few weeks and such fighters are just built different, 9 times out of 10 MMA fighters quit under any kind of adversity and also have the option to tap out during strikes so credit where due because DDP had a number of opportunities to quit and he made it to the end.
Khazmat was unreal, total domination & he showed how intelligent he has become as well by maintaining control on the ground & ignoring the crowd, that’s the best quality I’ve seen from him and will bode well for his championship career because the only thing that can stop him, is himself, if he keeps his emotions in check; he’s going to be seriously dangerous.
Also guys, no offence, but are MMA fans generally re!arded? Why boo when an opponent is being dominated on the floor? It’s called mixed martial arts isn’t it, not kick-boxing, so I am a bit confused there or do they just not like Khazmat due to his religion & political allegiances?
And one final point, I’ve not seen more disgraceful refereeing & blatant cheating before the whole world in any combat sports fight like this, especially in a title fight! The ref separating the fighters while one was dominating the other so emphatically was pathetic to watch, there was nothing that Khazmat was doing that I saw was illegal ? In-fact the only times DDP had any success was when the ref allowed him to get up, what if he finished Khazmat in that moment because he is an elite striker, but thankfully Khazmat gave him that respect and took him down immediately, but the jeopardy was created by the ref!
There was some concern with Khazmat’s engine, but it wasn’t really tested, in any combat sport when you control the pace of the fight, you don’t break a sweat, in-fact I am shocked DDP made it to his feet for the 5th, he must have been physically & mentally exhausted, what are the doping tests like in the UFC? I am interested to see the results when they do come out. Getting worked like that on the mat takes everything out of you, Khazmat fought a beautiful fight.

That really infuriated me, referees can separate fighters if there is a lull and nothing happening, for example if you are on top of a fighter but not doing anything
In that moment though Khamzat was adjusting position but actively punching him as well
It was terrible refereeing from Marc Goddard
That’s how UFC scoring has always been sadly. It was scored 50-44 unanimously, that means they scored just one 10-8 round for Khazmat, DDP got the pro-apartheid sympathy from the judges.
That’s how UFC scoring has always been sadly.
It’s why that cheating duckJon Jones never lost his title because the judges believe that if you can’t “dominate” the champ then we will give him the bias. And to them “dominate” means a straight up KO or tap out. It seems like they close their eyes outside of that
Watch Jones first fight vs Gustafson and Reyes and watch him get owned, then resort to eye pokes which is illegal but referee doesn’t give an f.
So you really gotta come out guns blazing vs the defending champ which despite the leeway given to DDP, Khamzat definitely did.
This was what I was worried about, if DDP was even mildly competitive, they would have given him the round going by the pathetic scoring, if there was ever a UFC fight to score 10-8 for every round, this was it! He took him down within 30 secs of every round, that’s just mad! I am not even a religious UFC follower but see how the sport is supported by swathes of ignorant casuals and the analytical opinions are moronic to say the least.
I've watched UFC for a number of years now, would not describe myself as an avid follower of it simply because football takes priority and the timing of fights isn't great. The one thing I've noticed is that it is very tribal, once people latch on to a fighter they can't do wrong in their eyes and they are downright disrespectful towards any of their rivals
I first noticed this when Khabib beat McGregor, some of the McGregor fans struggled to accept the loss and they would spend all their energy on criticising Khabib and diminishing his achievements as a fighter
Honestly the commentators are far more knowledgeable than the referee and the judges. And am glad Dana at least kept no nonsense commentators for the most part. This was what I was worried about, if DDP was even mildly competitive, they would have given him the round going by the pathetic scoring, if there was ever a UFC fight to score 10-8 for every round, this was it! The commies have their moments of bias but for the most part they call it as it is.
Joe Rogan was calling out the ref for the stupid resets and so was DC.
But then again, Joe doesn’t need this commie job lol he makes plenty of dough Ma Sha Allah on his own, and DC is a MMA / UFC ATG too.
Bisping is another one who keeps it real.

Spot on! No matter your talent, practice, practice is what counts in the end. Khamzat has been wrestling since a child, this was normal for his mind and his body, muscle memory and repeat will then turn into a instinct!

Good to see Khamzat win the belt…but I think he might have lost more fans than he gained.
Yes, wrestling is a part of MMA, but to see it for 23+ minutes wasn’t what I expected.
I would’ve loved to have seen him knock out DDP, but still happy for him.
It's not great to watch, but it showed up Dricus limitations, previously he has been dominant, here his poor ground game was brutally exposed. Khamzat is like Khabib, a freak of nature. Normal tactics to repel the takedown don't seem to work with these guys, they are just freaks of nature who can bulldoze through anything.
Absolutely, most of his peers are giving credit for his incredible showing apart from those who are looking for a payday through a fight with him. MMA generally use to be followed by fewer casuals but this new wave of ignorant fans are completely stupid. If Bruce Lee was in the UFC they’d boo him as well, given his dedication & adaptability it would be too easy for him after a few years in the sport, Khazmat is of that school of thought when it comes to mentality of a disciplined fighter. There was a joke wrestling match between Khazmat & DC, yes DC was retired but still he was a former Olympic medal winner & he appeared to deal with him with ease, it was going to be a long night for DDP in hindsight!
It looked to me like when Khamzat got separated, Dricus actually managed to strike him with something, shortly afterwards there was blook leaking and it looked like it was coming from Khamzat's forehead. Maybe he caught him with a flailing elbow or something? Shocking refereeing regardless, Khamzat could have lost the fight as he looked a little bit dazed for a few seconds, totally thrown off his game.
On the fight itself, I know I said months ago that he would ragdoll Dricus, but I had no idea it would be so one sided. Dricus has been a very dominant champion at middleweight, but he had no answer to Khamzat's wrestling prowess.
Unfortunatley McGregor bought in a lot of casuals. Sure he gave the sport a lot more publicity but most of his fans are clueless. When McGregor fought Mayweather, one of his fans offered me a large bet for McGregor to win lol.
However for real combat fans who understand this combat, we could see the domination from many angers. It will be a long road back for DDP and if Khamzat stays dedicated, he will remain undefeated unless another Caucus chap turns up.
McGregor fans are the dumbest group of people out there, most likely always on the p!ss.
The casuals & bigots burning for obvious reasons across sports:
Strong and disciplined. Not an ounce of arrogance. The Caucasus produce some of greatest physical specimens of men . The conditions are near perfect for training , altitude, steep inclines , fresh home grown food and physical sports being their main sports .
Soon if Islam wins the ww title there will be 5 out of 8 champions from this region!
Strong and disciplined. Not an ounce of arrogance.
Khazmat got caught clean after the break-up, the first time it looked like the jumping knee and the second time he got hit clean a couple of times with lefts or rights can’t remember, Khazmat had his chin tucked in which helped stem the blows but he could easily have been knocked out. Khazmat’s team should complain about that, it’s like the ref stepping in and typing Mayweathers hands behind his back for a couple of secs during the Canelo fight, it would be the equivalent of that!! Disgraceful stuff!
