People used to say that Misbah has something agianst Khushdil and stuff, but at the end we saw who is way worst.

Asif isnt any good, and i would prfere if Iftikhar is bought back in.

Khushdil is better than Asif Ali. He needs to be given a run. Looks like a sensible player. Could be an ideal no 5 for Pak. He has good list a stats too unlike Asif Ali who has'nt even dominated domestically like Khushdil.
Knowing our fans they will want to drop Khushdil and promote a under-19 nobody as next Ab de Villiers

I'm not saying that they ahould average 50+ but such low averages should be a good idea of how poor they are no matter how many runs they score at domestic T20/List A level

I think khushdil might not some time to be groomed but I don't think he is long term solution I'm sure their is better hitters in Pakistan

This. Always look at FC averages. Around 35 should be mandatory for a pure batsman

Data is always honest specially when lots of it is available and data tells you no decent batsman ever has averaged so low in FC

Exactly. Even limited over specialists such as Aaron Finch and Eoin Morgan have FC averages in the mid 30s.

I probably would take Asif!!!! Why can hit pacers and hit something outside off. Khusdil is probably a spin badger, but after watching him in 50 metre kiwi grounds against Shodhi, I am not sure how much better he is over Asif against spin. Probably, Khusdil will out do Asif in Asian conditions but in NZ, I’ll take Asif.

yes he is part of the shaheens squad he will play the t20s for the shaheens

Asif is a better hitter who has the correct posture, stance, body position, foot-work, bat speed, focus on the ball, and skill to make a super solid contact with the ball in a compact and powerful space.

Khusdill, although not totally poor, but his style of playing makes him look as if he is all over the place. Body position is in continuous motion, foot work and bat swing area is spread out. He has to use (waste) some extra energy to send the ball away as he is not fully compact and focused on one spot.

Khushdil is a legside hack while Asif is a slogger with a broader range.

Khushdil is young and like Sharjeel could improve his offside and general game under an experienced coach.

Khushdil has more potential while Asif is a short term solution. Tough one.

Asif only has one good shot - that aerial pull over square off back of a length.

Everyone's figured that out and they just don't bowl there anymore. Now Asif is anonymous even in CPL which is incredibly embarassing.

Both are probably not good enough for this level but i think Khushdil has more potential.

Khudshil can bowl as well . Also , he can be a part time keeper , when required.

If Asif can last for 10 balls, he will definitely score more than 20 runs. Whereas Khushdil will score 1 or 2 runs in 10 balls. I would definitely go with Asif Ali if I have to choose between two of these.
