Yes rishabh pant is unfit. I’m saying atleast he looks little bit overweight but looking at Azam Khan and Sharjeel they look like uncles. From the looks of his big stature it looks like he is agile in the field is draw to a lower level I guess. Anyways both pant and azam are not good enough keeper fitness
Whatever said and done if he can pass the yo-yo test then yes, he is fit and can be selected.
Not like even if they fail fitness test but can be in the team because they hit the ball long way or bowl good spin or be the captain then they are ok.

Opener Taimoor Sultan’s century helped Northern record a comprehensive 154-run win over Central Punjab in a broadcast fixture at the State Bank Stadium on Sunday.
In the other Pakistan Cup One-Day Tournament 2020-21 matches, Sindh overcame Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by 63 runs thanks to an all-round contribution from Anwar Ali at the NBP Sports Complex, while Imran Farhat’s 96 earned Balochistan a thrilling one-wicket win over Southern Punjab at UBL Sports Complex.
Northern v Central Punjab, State Bank Stadium, Karachi:
Central Punjab captain Saad Nasim won the toss and asked Northern to bat first. Northern openers – centurion Taimoor Sultan and Ali Imran – provided their team a flying start by adding 165 runs for the first-wicket.
Right-handed Taimoor played a series of attacking shots in his 94-ball 102-run innings that included 11 fours and three sixes. Central Punjab clawed back in the game as fast bowler Ahmed Bashir took three wickets in the 26th over, sending back Ali Imran (56 off 59 balls, five fours, one six), Taimoor and Mohammad Nawaz (0 off 1).
Asif Ali and Hammad Azam first consolidated before upping the scoring-rate.
Hammad contributed 45 off 30 balls. Asif accelerated the scoring-rate as he hit seven fours and five sixes in his 76 off 41 balls before falling to spinner Ahmed Safi Abdullah.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Jamal Anwer then provided the final touches to Northern’s imposing batting effort with an unbeaten 36 off 22 balls. Despite some late hiccups, Northern amassed a mammoth 382 for the loss of eight wickets.
Ahmed Bashir finished with figures of four for 86 in his 10 overs.
Central Punjab’s chase never got going as they kept losing wickets in the pursuit of quick runs. Wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Akhlaq and captain Saad Nasim followed up their centuries – in last match against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – with half-centuries in another losing cause.
Akhlaq made 55 off 51 balls with the help of seven fours, Saad’s 53 required 51 balls and included four fours and one six. Opener Tayyab Tahir made 47 off 54 balls (four fours, one six).
Central Punjab folded for 228 runs in 37.1 overs to hand a comfortable 154-run victory to Northern, their second in as many matches. Hammad Azam took four wickets for 42 runs in eight overs, while Sohail Tanvir, Athar Mehmood and Salman Irshad took two wickets each.
Taimoor Sultan was named Player-of-the-Match.
Balochistan v Southern Punjab, UBL Sports Complex, Karachi:
Southern Punjab were bowled out for 244 runs in 46.2 overs after Imran Farhat, the Balochistan captain, elected to field after winning the toss.
Balochistan bowlers took the first five Southern Punjab wickets for a mere 91 runs. Mukhtar Ahmed, batting at number three, scored 45 off 43 balls with the help of eight fours and a six, while opener Zain Abbas contributed 30 runs.
Southern Punjab were rescued by Aamer Yamin who top-scored with 73 off 81 balls. The all-rounder hit six fours and two sixes in his innings.
Balochistan bowlers delivered a disciplined and probing bowling performance with Abdul Wahid Bangalzai, Taj Wali, Kashif Bhatti and Gohar Faiz taking two wickets each.
Balochistan were reduced to 82 for five at one stage of their chase. Captain Imran Farhat led from the front and held the innings together as he added 59 runs for the sixth-wicket with Kashif Bhatti, who contributed 33.
Imran, later adjudged the player-of-the-match, then added 64 for the seventh-wicket with pacer Umaid Asif (3o off 29 balls, two fours, two sixes).
Imran was dismissed four runs shy of his century; his 96 off 107 balls included 11 fours.
Balochistan lost their ninth-wicket at 230 and were helped over the line by the last wicket pair of Taj Wali (14 not out) and Raza-ul-Hasan (11 not out) who added 17 runs as the victory was achieved with five balls spare.
Leg-spinner Zahid Mehmood took four wickets, while Umer Khan and Muhammad Ilyas took two wickets apiece.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa v Sindh, NBP Sports Complex, Karachi:
Asif Afridi’s five-wicket haul was instrumental in dismissing Sindh for 256 runs after they were put into bat by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa captain Khalid Usman.
Sindh lost their first five wickets for 84 runs with only Asad Shafiq (42 off 63 balls) providing some resistance along with wicketkeeper-batsman Azam Khan, who made 37 off 36 balls (two fours, one six).
Sindh were rescued by a 78-run stand for the sixth-wicket between all-rounders Hassan Khan and Anwar Ali. Hassan top-scored for his side with 66 off 73 balls (three fours, one six).
Anwar used the long handle effectively scoring a brisk 65 off 42 balls (four fours, three sixes) as Sindh managed to get past the 250-run mark. Asif bowled two maidens in his 10-over spell of left-arm spin, conceding 31 runs for his five wickets.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were bowled out for 193 runs in reply to handover a comfortable 63 runs win to Sindh.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, at one stage, were reduced to 105 for seven as Sindh bowlers led by pacer Mohammad Umar (three for 21) made regular inroads. Sajid Khan, batting at number nine, scored 52 off 47 balls (five fours, three sixes). His efforts helped in narrowing the defeat margin.
Quaid-e-Azam Trophy’s top run-getter Kamran Ghulam was the only frontline Khyber Pakhtunkhwa batsman to make a decent contribution, the right-hander made 38 off 59 balls.

No. The rule is that there is a maximum of one foreign player, not minimum
Got it!!!! But they should make it mandatory to play 1 foreign player in every team (Like English county Cricket). It would bring attraction and competition in the league.

It's possible he's improved. He looks to have added a few strokes to his game and can still hit them big. Don't think he's anywhere near selection for the time being but if he has a consistent OD cup then maybe.

Opener Sahibzada Farhan scored a sensational 155 to help Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chase down 378 runs against Balochistan while Asif Ali’s smashing ton helped Northern beat Southern Punjab in the Pakistan Cup powered by Servis Tyres – One-Day Tournament 2020-21 third-round matches in Karachi on Tuesday.
Over at the NBP Sports Complex, Khurram Manzoor scored a century to guide Sindh to a six-wicket win over Central Punjab.
Balochistan vs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, State Bank Stadium, Karachi:
Balochistan batsmen made full use of their captain Imran Farhat’s decision to bat first on another batting friendly track at the State Bank Stadium. Opener Bismillah Khan led the way with an innings of 92 off 90 balls (five fours, four sixes) that laid the foundations of Balochistan’s imposing 377 for six total.
Middle-order batsman Awais Zia (66 off 61 balls, six fours, two sixes) and Akbar-ur-Rehman (55 off 42 balls, seven fours, one six) maintained the high scoring rate. The left-handed Imran, made a captain’s contribution scoring 77 off 68 balls with the help of three fours and four sixes.
Ayaz Tasawar scored a brisk unbeaten 38 off 16 balls (four fours, two sixes) as Northern bowlers failed to keep the scoring rate in check in the death overs. Irfanullah Shah and Arshad Iqbal took two wickets each for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Sahibzada Farhan produced a sensational 155 off 135 balls (15 fours, three sixes) to spearhead Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s stunning chase.
Farhan added 185 runs for the third-wicket with Kamran Ghulam (Highest run-getter of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2020-21) who contributed 81 off 68 balls (three fours, four sixes) to set the base for the chase.
Batting at number eight, captain Khalid Usman scored 56 off 33 balls and off-spinner Sajid Khan blazed away with an unbeaten 27 off 15 balls to ensure their side’s thrilling victory with only four balls and two wickets to spare.
The Balochistan bowlers failed to defend the big total amid the batting onslaught by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa batsmen who maintained an attacking mindset in the pursuit of the total. For Balochistan, Taj Wali took four wickets while Umaid Asif took two.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa now have two wins in three matches, while Balochistan have registered a single victory and have lost two matches.
Northern vs Southern Punjab, UBL Sports Complex, Karachi:
Asif Ali’s blazing 127-run innings off a mere 70 balls propelled Northern to their 306 for nine total after they were put into bat by Southern Punjab. Batting at number six, the right-handed Asif took the attack to the Southern Punjab bowlers hitting 17 fours and five sixes in his 88-minute stay at the crease.
Asif, later adjudged player-of-the-match, added 94 runs for the fifth-wicket with his captain Mohammad Nawaz who provided a steady hand with his 52-run innings that came off 77 balls and included five fours. The two joined hands with Northern stuttering at 99 for four.
After Nawaz’s departure, Asif continued to attack as he dominated a 70-run sixth-wicket stand with Hammad Azam who made 22 off 27 balls. Pacer Muhammad Ilyas took four wickets for 61 runs while leg-spinner Zahid Mahmood took two wickets for 43 runs.
Mukhtar Ahmed fought a lone battle for Southern Punjab with a scintillating century, the right-hander who came into bat at number three; hit as many as 12 fours and six sixes in his 139 off 134 balls.
No other Southern Punjab batsman provided Mukhtar the requisite support other than skipper Sohaib Maqsood who scored a quickfire 40 off 27 balls (seven fours, two sixes).
Southern Punjab kept losing wickets at regular intervals and eventually folded for 249 runs in the 46th over of their innings to hand Northern a comfortable 57-run victory.
Left-arm pacer Mohammad Ismail took three wickets for Southern Punjab while Nawaz, Athar Mahmood and Salman Irshad took two wickets each.
The victory further strengthened Northern’s position at the top of the six-team table. They now have six points courtesy their three wins in as many matches. Southern Punjab have lost two and won one match.

Central Punjab won the toss and opted to bat first; they were bowled out for 287 in 48.2 overs. Ali Zaryab, who batted at number three, top-scored with 68 off 73 balls laced with four fours and two sixes. Opener Tayyab Tahir contributed 52 off 63 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes.

Over at the NBP Sports Complex, Khurram Manzoor scored a century to guide Sindh to a six-wicket win over Central Punjab.
Balochistan vs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, State Bank Stadium, Karachi:
Balochistan batsmen made full use of their captain Imran Farhat’s decision to bat first on another batting friendly track at the State Bank Stadium. Opener Bismillah Khan led the way with an innings of 92 off 90 balls (five fours, four sixes) that laid the foundations of Balochistan’s imposing 377 for six total.
Middle-order batsman Awais Zia (66 off 61 balls, six fours, two sixes) and Akbar-ur-Rehman (55 off 42 balls, seven fours, one six) maintained the high scoring rate. The left-handed Imran, made a captain’s contribution scoring 77 off 68 balls with the help of three fours and four sixes.
Ayaz Tasawar scored a brisk unbeaten 38 off 16 balls (four fours, two sixes) as Northern bowlers failed to keep the scoring rate in check in the death overs. Irfanullah Shah and Arshad Iqbal took two wickets each for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Sahibzada Farhan produced a sensational 155 off 135 balls (15 fours, three sixes) to spearhead Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s stunning chase.
Farhan added 185 runs for the third-wicket with Kamran Ghulam (Highest run-getter of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2020-21) who contributed 81 off 68 balls (three fours, four sixes) to set the base for the chase.
Batting at number eight, captain Khalid Usman scored 56 off 33 balls and off-spinner Sajid Khan blazed away with an unbeaten 27 off 15 balls to ensure their side’s thrilling victory with only four balls and two wickets to spare.
The Balochistan bowlers failed to defend the big total amid the batting onslaught by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa batsmen who maintained an attacking mindset in the pursuit of the total. For Balochistan, Taj Wali took four wickets while Umaid Asif took two.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa now have two wins in three matches, while Balochistan have registered a single victory and have lost two matches.
Northern vs Southern Punjab, UBL Sports Complex, Karachi:
Asif Ali’s blazing 127-run innings off a mere 70 balls propelled Northern to their 306 for nine total after they were put into bat by Southern Punjab. Batting at number six, the right-handed Asif took the attack to the Southern Punjab bowlers hitting 17 fours and five sixes in his 88-minute stay at the crease.
Asif, later adjudged player-of-the-match, added 94 runs for the fifth-wicket with his captain Mohammad Nawaz who provided a steady hand with his 52-run innings that came off 77 balls and included five fours. The two joined hands with Northern stuttering at 99 for four.
After Nawaz’s departure, Asif continued to attack as he dominated a 70-run sixth-wicket stand with Hammad Azam who made 22 off 27 balls. Pacer Muhammad Ilyas took four wickets for 61 runs while leg-spinner Zahid Mahmood took two wickets for 43 runs.
Mukhtar Ahmed fought a lone battle for Southern Punjab with a scintillating century, the right-hander who came into bat at number three; hit as many as 12 fours and six sixes in his 139 off 134 balls.
No other Southern Punjab batsman provided Mukhtar the requisite support other than skipper Sohaib Maqsood who scored a quickfire 40 off 27 balls (seven fours, two sixes).
Southern Punjab kept losing wickets at regular intervals and eventually folded for 249 runs in the 46th over of their innings to hand Northern a comfortable 57-run victory.
Left-arm pacer Mohammad Ismail took three wickets for Southern Punjab while Nawaz, Athar Mahmood and Salman Irshad took two wickets each.
The victory further strengthened Northern’s position at the top of the six-team table. They now have six points courtesy their three wins in as many matches. Southern Punjab have lost two and won one match.

Central Punjab won the toss and opted to bat first; they were bowled out for 287 in 48.2 overs. Ali Zaryab, who batted at number three, top-scored with 68 off 73 balls laced with four fours and two sixes. Opener Tayyab Tahir contributed 52 off 63 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes.

This tournament just shows how inept the PCB is.
Your premiere 50 over tournament and on such short boundaries.
It would neither develop bowlers nor batsmen. Bowlers would start bowling defensive lines just to not get hit for sixes and will dent their confidence, whereas batsmen will be over confident coz on these grounds even Fawad could hit sixes for fun

It could have a positive effect on the players. Too many Pakistani batsmen don't have the experience of pacing an innings in a big run chase and very few bowlers seem to have the skill to perform in batting friendly conditions. In international cricket most limited overs pitches are geared towards batting teams and Pakistan's players are often ill-prepared for this.

I agree with this. To be honest, a 370 scoring track is better than a 250 scoring track keeping in mind modern day requirements since it helps teach our batsmen how to pace the innings. Somewhere around an average innings score of 330 by the end of the season should be the target for the groundsmen.
By the by, you still have to bat well to do well here. All the top batsmen so far are people who have had international callups or have been close to an international or Shaheens callup - the others are still not doing well and are being terribly exposed.
Meanwhile good bowlers are still doing well if they are good. Taj Wali had a fantastic game yesterday for example. No need to flatter medium pacers if they don’t have the skills to survive.
Mohammad Ilyas, a very skilled bowler, has 9 wickets in 3 games right now at an average of 15 (leading the charts). Mohammad Umar, another skilled bowler who was recently selected for the PSL, has identical stats in second place. Hammad Azam of all people averages 18 (6 wickets in 3 games).
There’s another 10 people who average low 20s with the ball (both spinners and seamers).
So these pitches aren’t as batting friendly as you might think - if you’re good, you’ll do well.

Another note about the pitches - the boundaries are actually only small square of the wicket! They’re normal sized down the ground. There was an interview with Usman Shinwari where the discussion was about how this forces him to attack the stumps and cramp the batsmen for room. Taking wickets is also important to stem the flow of runs.
Conversely, batsmen in turn have to play wel square of the wicket, with off side strokes encouraged while there is enough protection on leg that you need to have the power to clear the fence. Your encouraged option is to play in the V - as it should be.

I was really keen to watch/follow 50 over cricket after a long time and also follow some players but have to say it's a pathetic tournament going on, I am so disappointed.
You have brought half the good players to NZ, most of them haven't played that much, nore they have played the first class season and now you are also not letting them play the List A season.
It is more like a punishment for the young guys like Hasnain, Musa, Danish, Abdullah, Haider and many others who have to play many matches at this age.
Then the playing conditions, the little grounds etc, just poor.

Circumstances of covid. What can we do? Perhaps a little better thought put in and we could have guaranteed more first class games on the tour itself. But Haider for example, he’s a starter in our T20 team already and there’s no way he would have been able to play QeA FC this season. In the grand scheme of things, that is definitely a shame.
As far as List A goes, all the guys you mentioned are rejoining the tournament starting with the next game or two.

Having guys like Khurram Mansoor, Asif Ali, sahibzada Fzrhan and Mukhtar Ahmed score that heavily at this SR tells you about the quality of cricket.

Some of the batting stats are really scary - raises question about the quality of cricket there. I think, I was wrong in this regard- when PAK picked like 40 players for NZ trip, I thought the quality of domestic teams won’t suffer that much because of the large player pool, but the base line of PAK cricket really has gone down over the years.
I had a feeling that, it’s just PAK isn’t producing elite cricketers any more, but there is a good number of cricketers in good to very good level, who are just one step down international standard - it’s not the case any more.

You don’t seem to have much knowledge on cricket. Pacing an innings is different and playing on schools grounds is different. They’re two DIFFERENT things.
Bowling in flat pitches is different and with 50 m boundaries is different. DIFFERENT

No, the effect will be negative. If you see one of these tournaments, you will see that short boundaries make the batsmen even more lazier. Internationally, batsmen start to take singles and doubles from the power play with the odd boundary in between. In Pakistan, they play 5 dot balls, and hit one preemptive six. There is a reason why players Like Kakmal are so successful. Someone like him barely runs, barely pushes the opposition and relies on their get out of jail shot. International cricket does not work like that anymore. Ahmed Shehzad is also an another example of who does this alot. There is no emphasis on running between the wickets. Khushdil Shah, Abdullah Shafique and some of the other young crop showed alot of deficiencies facing a top side like NZ, because they aren't fast enough.

This might come as a shock to you but pitches around the world are "different"....
It still requires a certain skillset to be able to adapt to short boundaries and if it's a big run chase batsmen still need to have the mentality to not get distracted by the possibility of hitting sixes or succumb to scoreboard pressure. They still need to plan their innings which is why not every batsmen is scoring heavily. Bowlers need to improvise and make use of their variations. If they don't have these skills, they'll fail. Look at the top run scorers and wicket takers they might be considered international failures but mostly they are seasoned top domestic performers and the odd young emerging player.
Previous seasons Pakistani domestic cricket has been out of sync with most of the world in producing bowling friendly pitches and it made the bowlers complacent while lacking the skills to compete in international cricket. Well I'm all in favour of forcing them to adapt to a more batting friendly set up this year. Let's see who thrives and who moans about pitches.

Let’s accept that and maybe the real injustice was subbing Abdullah in for him despite him being in form. (It obviously wasn’t - but that’s how your logic should go, if you’re really looking for an injustice somewhere).

Rizwan Hussain has definitely some hitting ability and that is why he is rated for white ball cricket at domestic level. Needs to keep on working on his shot selection and hitting the ball in the gaps to increase consistency.

Opener Tayyab Tahir’s maiden List A century guided Central Punjab to a four-wicket victory over Southern Punjab while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa overcame Northern and Balochistan defeated Sindh in the fourth-round matches of the Pakistan Cup powered by Servis Tyres – One-Day Tournament 2020-21 in Karachi on Thursday.
Central Punjab vs Southern Punjab, State Bank Stadium, Karachi:
Southern Punjab got off to a poor start after Central Punjab won the toss and chose to bowl first. Pacer Ahmed Bashir got rid of the openers with only three runs on the board.
Sohaib Maqsood scored a blazing 60 off 49 balls (five fours, five sixes) to bring his team back in the hunt in a 86-run partnership with captain Hussain Talat. Sohaib hit four sixes in Ahmed’s fifth over (ninth of the innings). Zubair Khan got Sohaib’s crucial wicket as the right-hander was caught at the mid-off boundary attempting another big shot.
Hussain contributed 60 off 64 balls (five fours, two sixes) before falling to Sohaibullah. Southern Punjab were helped past the 300-run mark by contributions from middle-order batsman Waqar Hussain (70 off 64 balls, six fours, one six), all-rounder Muhammad Imran (46 off 47 balls, two fours) and fast bowler Mohammad Ilyas (32 off 20 balls, four fours, one six).

Balochistan asked Sindh to bat first after the match was reduced to 47 overs per team due to a delayed start caused by overnight dew. Fifties by Hassan Khan and Danish Aziz in the lower-order took Sindh to 239 for nine.
The two added 52 runs for the sixth-wicket after Sindh had stuttered to 131 for five. Hassan hit six fours in his 54 off 55 balls. The left-handed Danish hit two fours and one six in his 52-run contribution off 71 balls. Earlier, Asad Shafiq was dismissed for 43 off 61 balls.
All-rounder Amad Butt was the pick of the Balochistan bowlers, the right-arm pacer took five wickets for 54 runs in his nine overs. Left-arm-spinner Kashif Bhatti provided him useful support by taking two wickets for 38 runs in 10 overs.
Balochistan chased down the target for the loss of seven wickets with three balls to spare. Left-handers Ayaz Tasawar and captain Imran Farhat starred for Balochistan. Ayaz top-scored with 69 off 107 balls with the help of eight fours as he anchored the innings. Imran scored 59 off 65 balls with the help of nine fours.
Kashif Bhatti scored an undefeated 40 off 43 balls (five fours, one six) to take his side to victory, he added 35 runs for the unbroken eight-wicket stand with Taj Wali who made 11 not out after Balochistan had wobbled to 205 for seven.
Fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain took three wickets for 36 runs for Sindh, Mohammad Umar, Hasnain’s new-ball partner, took two wickets for 53 runs. Amad was named player-of-the-match.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa vs Northern, NBP Sports Complex, Karachi:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa won the toss and asked Northern to bat first. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bowling attack pegged back Northern from the outset.
Pacer Irfanullah Shah took two early wickets before spinners Iftikhar Ahmed, Asif Afridi, captain Khalid Usman, Sajid Khan and Kamran Ghulam sliced through the Northern middle and lower order.
Faizan Riaz, batting at number four, was the only one to withstand the bowlers for a considerable time, scoring 42 off 83 balls with the help of four fours before he was dismissed by off-spinner Sajid.
Hammad Azam with 19 runs was the second best Northern batsman as they were dismissed for a mere 112 runs in 36.4 overs. Iftikhar took three wickets with his off-spin bowling, left-arm-spinner Asif Afridi and Irfanullah took two wickets each.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also found the conditions challenging as they lost six wickets before achieving victory in 23.1 overs. Khalid and Sajid added 25 runs for the unbroken seventh-wicket stand to guide their team to victory after Mubasir Khan’s three for 20 had helped reduce Northern to 88 for six.
Salman Irshad, Mohammad Nawaz and Faizan took a wicket each for Northern. Sajid was awarded the player-of-the-match award for his all-round performance which included bowling figures of 3-1-4-1 and his unbeaten 20 off 14 balls (one four, one six).

Central Punjab vs Southern Punjab, State Bank Stadium, Karachi:
Southern Punjab got off to a poor start after Central Punjab won the toss and chose to bowl first. Pacer Ahmed Bashir got rid of the openers with only three runs on the board.
Sohaib Maqsood scored a blazing 60 off 49 balls (five fours, five sixes) to bring his team back in the hunt in a 86-run partnership with captain Hussain Talat. Sohaib hit four sixes in Ahmed’s fifth over (ninth of the innings). Zubair Khan got Sohaib’s crucial wicket as the right-hander was caught at the mid-off boundary attempting another big shot.
Hussain contributed 60 off 64 balls (five fours, two sixes) before falling to Sohaibullah. Southern Punjab were helped past the 300-run mark by contributions from middle-order batsman Waqar Hussain (70 off 64 balls, six fours, one six), all-rounder Muhammad Imran (46 off 47 balls, two fours) and fast bowler Mohammad Ilyas (32 off 20 balls, four fours, one six).
Southern Punjab finished their 50 overs at 320 for nine; Ahmed and Raza Ali Dar took three wickets each for Central Punjab.
In reply, openers Rizwan Hussain and Tayyab Tahir provided Central Punjab a flying start with a 103-run first-wicket stand. Left-handed Rizwan played some scintillating shots in his blazing 76 off 37 balls (seven fours, seven sixes) before falling to Muhammad Imran.
Central Punjab were pegged back by the loss of four quick wickets and were in a spot of bother at 172 for four before Tayyab was joined by all-rounder Qasim Akram who contributed 46 runs in a 100-run partnership for the fifth-wicket.
Despite the loss of wickets at the other end, Tayyab remained composed and batted throughout the innings before hitting the winning runs off the first ball of the final over bowled by Hussain.
The right-hander remained unbeaten on 131 off 140 balls (12 fours, two sixes) to deservedly win the player-of-the-match award. For Southern Punjab, Imran and Zahid took two wickets each. This was Central Punjab’s first victory of the tournament.

Balochistan asked Sindh to bat first after the match was reduced to 47 overs per team due to a delayed start caused by overnight dew. Fifties by Hassan Khan and Danish Aziz in the lower-order took Sindh to 239 for nine.
The two added 52 runs for the sixth-wicket after Sindh had stuttered to 131 for five. Hassan hit six fours in his 54 off 55 balls. The left-handed Danish hit two fours and one six in his 52-run contribution off 71 balls. Earlier, Asad Shafiq was dismissed for 43 off 61 balls.

Saud played a defensive shot, Bowler picked the ball up and took a shot at the stumps, Saud didnt jump out of the way, he batted it back again.

Saud was within the crease and defending his toes. It was clearly not obstructing the wicket considering the bowler had a clear intention of hurting Saud, absolutely no chance of a runout.
