Sindh is the toughest team of this tournament, but i expect KPK will win the contest today.

I hope Sindh wins but Fakhar Zaman's average doesn't get hurt :amla

lets see how Sindh does if they dont get good start by openers
and if Khuaram get out cheaply then how Sami ll handle situation

Sindh to receive first defeat of tournament.

Just Bring It !!!

On a side note I was Sindh to win while just like how [MENTION=136729]Suleiman[/MENTION] mentioned don't want Fakhar's Average to get hurt as well.

"This is Younis Khan team, and we will try to win this cup for Younis Khan " Ahmed Shehzad

Don't care about who wins hoping King Amir does well

Really good over by Ruman Raees. Bowling good line and getting it to shape away from the left hander off the pitch.

Our pacers love to bowl the random short one on a slow pitch. Didnt expect this from Amir. Brainless bowling

still better than anwar ali and will take him any time over anwar ali the fake allrounder

Why would you choose rubbish over worse rubbish. Replace Anwar and this guy with 2 quality all rounders, Amad and Yamin

Really impressed by Sarfaraz team selection .there is variety in bowling
2 left arm fast bowler
1 right arm fast bowler
1 off spinner
1 left arm spinner
i wish afridi have selected same playing 11 in t20 worldcup would have made diffrence in worldcup

slow batting as pr routine
going at 4.7 run rate
stike rate of 71 for shehzad ( ) and 85 for Fakhar Zaman

not good at all

I don't mind who wins as long as fakhar average is kept in tact, ashghar bowls well, and Sami Aslam average is not harmed. :msd

Youngster beauties all the way :uakmal

This is the SR that Shehzad should be playing anyway. If he plays like this all the time in international cricket then he is the perfect opener for us. But for now he needs to stay in domestics for at least a year.

till about 14th over, he was batting at SR of 71 which is not good enough for international game for opener.
he always try to pick up strike rate AFTER scoring his fifty and which is what he is doing today

ok so I just tuned in to Cricinfo after coming from work :O :O :O WTH...... 141/0 how's this even possible with Shezzy opening the batting against players like Sohail Khan and Amir.

Bilal Asif have 18 dot balls in 6 overs
Ruman have 12 dots in 4.3 overs
same old batting from openers, too many dot balls
no wicket and still run rate is 5.33

Told ya before, Sindh will taste first defeat today.

If your precious Shezzy boy is scoring then I am 100% sure this is a pancake of a flatbed. Don't worry Roary hamare pas bhi FTB hain and there is no bigger FTB in domestic than Khurri - The Legend Himself :))

If this is a highway then I am certain you will need 350 runs today :D

We can not complain about selection of shezzy over last 5 years. He was identified and invested in. Now je is taking amir apart lol.
Best opener across last 2 domestic tournies

Looks like we have Shehzad and Manzoor as openers in our ODI squad. Another disaster coming for our domestic bullies.

Aamir has 16 dot balls in 5 overs

so it makes 46 dot balls (7.4 overs) from only 29 overs from 3 bowlers only.

so problem is still there :kohli

Not easy to bit under lights. Well i wanted Shezzi to score a duck and Fakhar to hit century, but :(

So Shehzad will get selected again and will inevitably fail against England like he has been doing in ODIs. Not gonna be fooled by this performance. He got one Englnd ODI, he failed. The whole 2015 he failed against non minnows, He got the whole NZ ODI and T20 series, he failed. He failed against every team except BD in the T20 world cup and even lost us an improtant NZ game along with Akmal. Playing well in this tournament but lets just wait for the Eng ODI series. Fakhar hasnt looked as amazing as his domestic stats suggest

50 dot balls from 3 bowlers only (Bilal Asif, Amir, & Ruman) in 30 overs
that's 8.2 overs , thats way too high, that's where our national team have problems.
even Khyber team is going strong at 170/0, run rate still not 6/RPO

My Two Cents on this tournament:

Pitch and Heat:

Was this tournament suppose to help us play against England?? - Are we playing England in UAE or England...

Conditions are anything but England like

Openers are having time of their life on these conditions. Don't tell me Pakistan has no problem in facing new ball, this is still the biggest issue... No matter how many 100s they make, that does not tell me anything about their skill against new ball... If all they do is score on these kind of wickets in domestic, well no wonder we are so crapy at international level...

Playing all matching on a single ground was huge oversite... Why they did not play in Pindi, where weather is much better?? - Baking players in Sun is not going to make them fitter, England is a whole different country...

Every match is win toss, bat first, win match... This is very predictable, teams are balanced but conditions are doctored :po:

Also, new ball bowlers are looking worse than they are in first innings, its difficult to bowl well in 40 degree heat and that to on a phatta... In second innings wickets get slow and slightly uneven, grips too, that helps second team to bowl much better than first... This is again poor pitch development, why we cannot have same conditions for 100 overs??

Amir's issue in LOI when conditions are flat are continue, imagine Strac bowling on same pitch... He would still do much better than Amir, because he bowls yorkers and fuller length that does not require pitch... Amir was bowling defensive length(back of length most of the time), not a single delivery pitch up or yorked... He got to develop those skills, otherwise he will not get much wickets in LOIs.... I am disappointed at his lack of variety and creativity to stay the least....

No Power Hitters or Finisher

Even though these are batting tracks, we don't see any power hitter, a guy who can hit boundaries at well, specially 6s... Sharjeel is the only guy who can hit six, rest don't have muscle or timing.... This is pretty poor show... No wonder we are worse team in the world

Good and bad day for some fans today.

Shez makes a century which is good, Amir not getting any love is a bad.

Aamer Yamin is the only guy who can hit sixes, i don't rate Khurram so leave him. We don't have explosive openers nor power hitters lower down the order, and this is the issue which i am discussing again and again since long time.

Amir should learn from Mustafiz how to control flows of runs. Being Amir fan I have to admit Amir still far behind than his fan Mustafiz due to lack of intelligence and reading batsman's mind and ball according to situation.

is Ruman Raees bowling spin ? thought he is phast bowler ?

1.5
Rumman Raees to Zohaib Khan, no run, tossed up, on leg stump, off the pad to leg slip
31.4
Rumman Raees to Ahmed Shehzad, 1 run, well tossed up on off stump, driven to long-off
31.3
Rumman Raees to Zohaib Khan, 1 run, tossed up, on leg stump, turned away to fine leg for a single
31.2
Rumman Raees to Fakhar Zaman, OUT, From round the wicket, tossed up, just outside off, went for the drive and ended up a faint outside edge through to keeper, big shout for caught behind, umpire took his time and raised his finger
Fakhar Zaman c †Sarfraz Ahmed b Rumman Raees 68 (79b 8x4 0x6) SR: 86.07
31.1
Rumman Raees to Ahmed Shehzad, 1 run, tossed up, on leg stump, turned to short fine leg for a single

Both Khurram and Shehzad high performing indicates the quality of our rubbish bowling. Our domestic bowling is as bad as UAE.

there is nothing high in today's performance
run rate is still 5.53
there were 50 dot balls in 30 overs (thats also from 3 bowlers)

There is no reverse swing for Amir, this is another area where he is too far behind than our past legend.... He can never be top bowler without reverse swing... On this wicket he should get reverse swing after 35/40 overs !!

Ahmad will score a double today. Or at least 150+

aren't they using 2 different balls ? then ball is only 15 overs old now ?

One should be able to reverse 15/20 overs old ball on this ground, too much dirt. If he cannot reverse here, he cannot anywhere else in the world [emoji46][emoji37][emoji46]

Not a good sign for our cricket :((

Hausla rakh bhai, kal Dinda ne bhi acchi bowling ki thi :( wo bhi Dhoni ke under me.
Hum ne bhi bardasht kar liya, aap bhi kar lo.
Things could be worse, imagine YK doing the same.

Rubbish Shehzad can only bat on dry Faisalabad Phattas

So far Sohail, Hassan, Ammad, Ehsan were able to reverse the ball.

Quite unfortunate that Shehzad got a century.
