KPK coach Abdur Rehman should be the next Pakistan coach

He was the coach of KPK in the recently concluded Pakistan Cup. Yes, KPK lost it, but won the inaugural Pakistan Cup tournament. He also lead Peshawar team to domestic T20 cup wins on the trot. He is part of the coaching staff of Peshawar Zalmi, which recently won the second edition of PSL. So, some achievements, which makes him a strong contender.

If it comes to merit, then this guy deserves it more than anyone else, I reckon.

He should take over from Mickey Arthur.

Agree with you bro. He knows local cricket really well and I think he would make a great coach. He hasn't got ego or arrogance like some of the other contenders. Only problem is that he will be dealing with average players unless things change drastically in Pakistan cricket.

At best he can be coach of Pakistan academy team or assistant coach to national team
In my opinion Dean Jones is the automatic choice.
He is excellent tactician, sound cricket knowledge and already involved in PSL.
