Lahore Qalandars (241/3) easily beat Peshawar Zalmi (201/9) by 40 runs in Match 15 of PSL 8

Fakhar struggles against spin more than hard ball. Yes, he struggles against good short balls, but most Pakistan bats do.
 
It seems like the best teams always pick performing emerging players. Can not pick liabilities like Bangalzai and Masood

Beautiful batting surface. Everyone can play his shots but you need to show intent.
 
Impressed by the breath taking stroke playing from Shafique. Just wonder why does he bat like pre world war batsmen in test matches when he has so much in arsenal? Why doesn't he show this confidence & intent there? What's hindering him, is it the deep rooted backward culture of Pak cricket? Or instructions from his captain/coach to bat like a "proper" test opener? I see him with guys like Harris,Azam,Ayub & I feel Pak has some cracking talents to compete with top level teams. But then I see how another guy named Haider is on the verse of ruin & suddenly I remember this is Pak cricket at the end of the day who are still stuck with 92 template.

Babar deserves it. He had the chance to pounce during the powerplay when the ball was swinging but as usual sticks to his defensive fields. At least he did Misbah proud!

Really poor bowling by Zalmi. They will be chasing close to 250 here.

On a positive note, this will test the likes of Haris and Ayub on a pitch where hitters are making merry. Zalmi has the fire power to counter this blitz from Lahore.

Some people just can’t shake their BIAS. This game will batter and bruise their ego, but they will still find a way to defend our PT captain.

Terrible attack too. Neesham should be a 6th bowler not your 3rd. Wahab should be out. He is not a good captain but he is being made to look horrible here.

Great to see both Fakhar and Abdullah ignoring their milestones for the team cause. Much more memorable than bekaar centuries by the “anchors”

I wouldn’t say that I share the exact sentiments but, I hate seeing Babar leading Pakistan and in the process, hurting his own batting while Pakistan’s chances to progress.

Starting to dislike him for trusting Rizwan at 4 in ODI. He will become my enemy if he promotes Rizwan to open

I feel sorry for him in Test. In Test cricket favouritism cannot be hidden. He has been suffering because fake cricketers are exposed in this format
 
Let see how Babar ANCHORS his team. I think they will be anchored at around 150-160

No chance. But as a cricket fan, I am interested in seeing how the upcoming T20 batsmen like Haris and Ayub approach this. They have enough target to score big and the pitch is very flat. Overall, a great opportunity for Ayub and Haris to make a name for themselves. If they can chase this, they can force their way into the Pak T20 team as well.

Belter of a wicket but Afridi will make the new ball count and that would kill the game very early.
 
Personally I would love to see Rauf and Shaheen destroyed because of their Chaaploos behaviour recently
 
Can Babar reply to loudmouth Aqib Javed who said that at LQ we plan to not get Babar out to win the matches.
 
Lets see if Babar will take responsibility and actually bat selflessly for his team.
 
Not bachun ka khel facing Shaheen with the new ball. Not anyone's cup of tea actually.
 
This is why Shaheen is so special. No matter if the conditions are batting paradises, he will kill you with the new ball everytime.
