Lahore Qalandars beat Quetta Gladiators by 8 wickets (with 49 balls to spare) in 21st match of PSL 5

If anyone with little knowledge see the fall of wickets majority of QG have played pathetic shot

like he has been there for decades.. lol u can just say he was just good for those couple of CT Fluke innings... in his couple of year career
 
Terrible pitch for an LOI. I am not gonna defend the poor shots but this is not how ANY batsman in the world would expect a T20 wicket behave.

Shehzad averages SEVENTY TWO in ODIs and 120 in T20s.

There is no comparison between him and Zaman even though Zaman has been a disaster of late
 
cutting , shahzad played unbelievelably stupid shots... watson Roy, azam and sarfraz got peachers

pitch is a turner not a minefield

Imagine if the playoffs and final have similar type of pitches. It will be a disaster

Hopefully it would be averted

Oh you're back from hibernation I see! One low crowd among the 90% sell out grounds and you come out crawling from your rate hole. I thought you weren't watching PSL? Its clearly pulling you in even if Lahoris aren't coming.
 
Patel doing the most basic thing that Pakistani spinners have forgotten / scared to do In the recent past ... GIVE THE BALL SOME BLOODY AIR... even watched the impressive Zaffar Gohar dart them earlier today!! he looks so dangerous when he gives it air

He has played quite a few bilateral series also and not just CT17, Asia Cup and WC19.

He was good against NZ in UAE, scored against NZ in NZ, Scored against Eng in Eng, Scored 44, 70, 44 against SA in SA in his last 3 innings there, scored runs against Srl in UAE.

Overall averages 40+ vs NZ, Eng and Srl, 50 plus against India (With 1 100 and 1 50 in 4 matches).

No one gives more flight then umer khan afais in psl he doesn't hesitate
 
Leg spinner Raja comes on for LQ & guess what ... he darts the first ball in aaaaargh , to be fair to him he is giving it air now .. shukar hai

Nah zaman is done He doesn't really work on his game .He Completely lost it when he tried to correct his Short ball game after that he couldn't play even length balls his technique is just horrendous

Stop making excuses. Similar prices at other PSL locations too and grounds are full. Lahoris should be generally more financially well off and entertainment isn't only about winning.
 
It is not the matter of entertainment. A pitch should be balanced. I am not in favor of roads in LOIs but, it can't be turning from get go as this wicket has.

Again, he has played well in ODIs except for two tournaments and did so just in the last ODI series vs Srl, scored 54 and 76. How is that done?

The way PP decides, half of the world players would be done every other day. Yes the point stand in T20s and isnt valid until he fails in ODIs for few series.

Collapses are part of cricket. Even on flat wickets side have bowled out on less than 100
 
7 remaining matches in Lahore

One or two matches with such pitches is alright. All the momentum picked due to matches in Multan and Pindi will go phuuss if the remaining matches are like this. Get that pindi curator to Lahore

LQs should have this game now in their pocket TBH. Worst case scenario now for Qalandars would be a ~110 target. Which I would back a team to chase it down.
 
Lahore cares more about their team's victory than a high scoring match
 
All u pitch complaining pansies need to be quiet. 200 plus pitches r okay, but 1 bowling pitch and now there r issues. Some of the Quetta players were acting like they never seen the ball turn. Adapt to the situation, cant be served everything on the silver platter.

Anything over a 100 can be challenging here. Though team batting 2nd has an advantage, knowing how Lahoris have collapsed in the past, it would make things interesting.
 
Quetta have got enough on the board. No way the paindu Lahore team is chasing this.
