London, Birmingham or Bradford for a Muslim student?

Thanks to everyone, now I have a decent amount of knowledge about the places and its pros and cons.

Can you shed some light on the job prospects? How's the placement at the unis. And what are the chances of landing into a job(if we don't get placed) as a Business Analysit/ Data Analyst/ Scientist.

Also does the uni ranking determine the chances of getting a job after graduation

Regarding my profile, by the time I fly(2022 Jan hopefully), I'd have 4 years of experience in the field of Data Science and Analytics.

Jobs market across the UK isn't in good shape at the moment due to Covid.

London and Birmingham though have always in the past been good for job prospects for graduates.

Apply for points based immigration instead of a student visa. There really are no guarantees after getting a degree and you may be left with no other option than return to India.

You can always do Masters part time along a full time job.

I actually quite like London myself, and its reputation as the top ranked global city is fully merited imo. I think the intensity, the size and the expense of living there would eventually get the better of me though, and I would scarper out to somewhere quieter.

London Central is a bit too much for me, but if you can break your time down there into checking out one bit at a time, you'd probably get more from it. Last time I was there I was staying close to Regent Park and that offers a nice oasis from all the concrete and busyness of city life. It's a decent place to visit, but would not want to live there. Driving is not much fun, you get stuck in traffic queues a mile long if you aren't careful.

i think it all depends on where you are bought up and what you are used to, i was in Birmingham and Manchester last few weeks , couldn't wait to get back to London. The main issue i have with these places is they are full of the young asian racer/gangster type boys getting up to all sorts. My mrs didn't feel comfortable at all going out for food, especially at night, you just get people staring, making silly comments etc, and the second they find out your from london they will try and offer you all sorts.

I agree the people in london are quite impatient but mostly everyone is in their own tunnel vision and in their own world, you get use to that, and the roads aren't the best but its quicker getting around in public transport

I was in Birmingham two weekends ago and honestly we felt exactly the same. We stayed in the City centre and went to Zen Metro for dinner which was nice but boy do you get starred at when you are walking around. Also, couldn't sleep at night due to people shouting on the streets and cars revving up their engines.

I know I'm biased but London all the way for me

Central London is a joke.

The amount of trouble you need to go through to visit anything of use in that part of London is ridiculous - roads, lack of parking etc

I was going to the West End but my thoughts I feel are applicable to most parts of London.

Went to Birmingham recently, parts of it is becoming like Bradford - literally lawless.

Saw scrambler bike riders almost killing themselves, boy racers driving like idiots, fights over parking spaces, lads on bicycles stopping next to cars and trying to grab watches and necklaces - Alum Rock Road.
