Lucknow: Shia Muslim youths form 'Gau Raksha Dal', vow to end cow slaughter

That's rich coming from a nation that has voted in Hindu supremacist govt twice since partition and has religious riots every two years. :91:

Sir , at the end of the day Indian Muslim population is larger than Pak and is growing well.
It is also the nation which proudly appointed Mr.Abdul Kalam as President and Manmohan Singh as the Prime Minister to rule a majority Hindu nation.

Your nation did not appoint them, they were both selected.

A Hindu Rana Bhagwandas was Chief Justice of Pakistan not long ago.

Selected by who ? The rpreenatives of the respective parties. If the parties sentiment was so against minorities - no one would have dare gone against that. But they were appointed and proudly served and every Indian has proud to consider Abdul Kalam as one the finest president's the country ever had

Manmohan Singh didn't contest parliamentary seat, he was selected from the upper house by The Gandhi dynasty. He was a puppet prime minister being remote controlled by the Gandhis. Again, Indians did not vote for him, he was hoisted on them.

Come and tell me when or if they have directly elected a non hindu as PM.

President is a ceremonial role... again it's based on selection. Unless I resort to google, I wouldn't be able to tell you who respective presidents of India and Pakistan are!

The fact that the upper dynasty of Gandhi Family's head or Congress parties head is a catholic woman is herself and regardless of the silent nature of the ex PM - a party going forward to put a minority head on the top goes against the popular sentiment of minority oppression and appeasement policy that many proclaim to exist in India.
Every position if based on selection so I am missing your point. NDA selected Abdul Kalam as their presidential candidate and with MLA's and MPs voting in favor he was elected , and in India being a President is quite an important position. Regardless of it all, in a minority oppressed radical Hindu society , this wouldn't happen when if religion based voting was the criteria no one put the minorities at the helm . That's the point I am trying to make , not to overhaul how it's done

Manmohan Singh was elected twice.. Before his 2nd term most people knew he was the prime ministerial candidate and still he won.. just correcting your information here..

He had no parliamentary constituency.... why didn't he stand in parliamentary elections second time round then? He was the first PM to have served with no constituency.... he was selected both times by the dynasty.
