Things are bad when a club cricket bowler like Ruman Raees is playing for Pakistan.

They are all lions on those Pakistani pitches, taking loads of wickets. I've stopped taking any of these domestic cricket stats seriously, Aizaz Cheema topping the charts is tip of the iceberg.

Even if pak produce a good test bowler who can bowl around 140 - 142kph then they might be happy.

He’s not even that bad. Had a decent PSL this year.

Wrong bowler, wrong format. Poor selection by Inzi.

150 kph does'nt mean anything if its not in bowlers control. Ferguson is a banger short of length nothing of the quality of Shame bond. His 150+ delivery was hit for six by Fakhar Zaman at deep point.

You only good bat speed to negotiate the faster deliveries as fast bowling is more back of length nowadays.

We have crappy Amir and Wahab Riaz, with their 140+ untidy bowling. Both bowl more no balls then the rest. Wahab Riaz is the player with the most expensive economy rate in world cricket. We should let go of this stupid obsession.

Amir untidy?

Sure..

So you mean he is a decent T20 bowler but rubbish in ODIs. Let see his skills in T20 series ;)

Just watched him on YouTube. He doesn't look express. 85 to 87 mph. Speed gun is showing higher speeds. In his next game everyone will say why has pace dropped.

Check his death bowling with the old ball against West Indies and New Zealand.

So being hit at the death is something new? Overall in both series his eco rate is / was good. Nowadays he mainly looks good with the new ball.

The bit about ni balls and being untidy doesnt apply to Amir. He has great control.

About speed he can crank it up as well in LOIs.

Overall pak pace attack is good enough.

Speed gun are showing wrong speed and your eyes are the best speed measuring equipment.

Some people want to live in Asia Cup or Champions Trophy, I live in the present. Amir is on tour of New Zealand right now. He was the only experienced bowler assigned to give Pakistan early breakthrough with the new bowl. Amir has done the total opposite of what was expected. He is not pitching full and not seaming the bowl after 2 overs. Pakistan has to bowl to Guptill and Williamson for 30 overs thanks to him. His economy rate is 4 to 6 runs in the 3 odis he gave around 57 in 9 overs in the first odi. Sarfaraz is'nt giving him 10 overs as Amir is bowling poorly in the last 10 overs.
Hasan Ali has somehow done reverse swing and bowled yorkers to NZ players. Amir has done neither.

Amir is back to bowling no balls with Rumman Raees, not done by any other PAk bowler in this series.

All the 5 seniors strangely are screwing Pakistan's chances. Amir is one of them, its just Hafeez, Azhar, Malik and Azam are doing more worse which allows Amir to escape from the scene.

Well after all his first name is Kamlesh, sooo..... (Jhun Jhun Jhun Jhun) :ashwin

Jokes apart he bowled really well with good line & length alongwith serious pace. I am getting envious watching all these young Indian quickies, lets hope they can do good on senior levels too.

where are those two bowlers who were bowling with good pace in 2016 u WC.should have been given chancees.

Both Avesh Khan and Khaleel Ahmed are playing domestics and also had IPL contracts, should go for decent amount in IPL 2018 auctions.

Also Mohammed Siraj, Basil Thampi, Avesh Khan and Navdeep Saini are with Team India in South Africa, they will get used to the conditions and do net bowling duties for the senior team.

Pak going through quite time in term of pacemen.
Pak is the only team from sub continent to produce pacemen to challenge lillies holdings bothams donalds- from Fazal Mahmood imran wasim waqar Zaihid Akhtar.

In return the rest of sub continent have given us prasad srinath vikramsinghe & khaled mahmoud.

There used to be a time when every domestic team in Pakistan had a bowler who could bowl at or close to 150kph, nowadays the vast majority of pace bowlers in Pakistan are arund 135kph - that is worrying.

Even Pakistan's international bowlers speed is dropping.

Something needs to be done about this.

He has got very good rhythm and follow through nice action too, that may be the reason he clockes effortlessly

so good ,,doing good work.

Even 85/87 for a 18 year old with a small wiry frame, is fantastic. Put some muscle on him, put him under the tutelage of mentors who can develop him, and he could be express.

Hardus Viljoen bowls faster than Rabada and Ngidi but only played one test because speed without brains is nothing.

Sure Pakistan produced 150k bowlers for fun in the past but with such pace injury is more common.

3 bowlers mentioned are very good finds, enjoyable to watch and will trouble batsmen but they arent in the same class as the Pakistani quicks of the past who bowled fast but also did every other trick with the ball possible. These 3 dont have the same skills and probably never will. No point bowling 150k if the ball doesnt talk at this pace.

Uhmm yes. Sure he has to pick up more wickets. Point is and most know it by now that he doesnt pitch it up. In most games where he does bowl a fuller length he picks up wickets but the wholte point here is being untidy. He surely isnt untidy as he knows very well to bowl (defensive) lines.

Pakistani bowlers are still trying to cut out extras and make sure they dont get hamstring injuries during their run up

Pakistan has Haris Rauf who is quicker than all of these bowlers. You guys forgot him :yk

PCB is (literally) killing Pakistani cricket and its pace legacy. Focus is on politics and filling pockets

Maybe we should start dropping TTF (tried and tested failures) and people who do not perform. Eh Inzi?

Okay, let's go back to Mohammad Sami and Wahab Riaz then.

Our team were out for below 80 and we are complaining about the bowlers. The bowling is okay, it's our batting we need to sort out.
