No. Pak declaring war means India will move aggressively for Gilgit while not giving an inch on Kashmir. Chinese interests in Gilgit mean China had to be involved. That's the last thing the Chinese want with their trade wars and HK and other issues. If the Chinese are involved, Americans will be as well and it will be considered Chinese aggression considering Gilgit doesn't even belong to China. Americans are trying to get out of Afg and China is eagerly waiting for their departure from Asia. So, no. This was a well thought out move by India.

I like the DG ISPR of Pakistan. Seems a very intelligent guy. But I hope he does not really wage a war for the sake of the secular folks either side of the border. The destruction will be catastrophic.

You forgetting your hero Abhinandan. Indians like you was hyping Balakot strikes and celebrating. What happened Modi and India got embarrassed world wide taking your fighter jets down and capturing your pilot. Modi and India had no answer after that and knew not to mess with our Army and now have to pick on the poor Kashmiris and Article 370 to settle scores for that.
