Rest for a mediocre performer? Hilarious.
This is actually sad that we have to cater to this captain that we has, who neither scores runs, or is the best keeper in the country.
Lead by example, the example of being unfit, not performing, and deflecting blame from ones self.
Honestly one of the worst captains the sport has ever seen. MoYo was a bad leader, but MoYo might be the best batsmen the country has ever seen. What is Sarfraz exactly? The 3-4 best keeper in the nation, and the what 4-5 best run scoring keeper in the nation?
The shock and disbelief when he brings in players like Imad Wasim and Hasan Ali over himself in pinch hit situations is comical. He used one little spell at the world cup where he did decently, a solid spell of clearly keeping his head down and performing, and then won a CT with no work of his own with Fakhar and Hasan Ali single handedly carrying the team, and now thinks he is larger than life.
Inzi was overweight and had his critics, but Inzi was a phenomenal bat. I still say he could have been even better had he just kept himself in shape, but still he performed. Sarfraz is unfit, overweight, and does not perform, and actually has the audacity to put bowlers in front of him, so as to deflect blame.
The fact we are discussing rest for a player who hasn't played in two months, and in the lead up series to the World Cup, where the other squads are set and playing to really get into form, is pretty unfathomable.
Sarfraz is not a batsmen, not a bowler, not a leader, not anything really, and yet there is still so much support and apologists. Unbelievable.
