Last month, Stoinis was one of the biggest names who was snubbed from CA's contract list of 23 players. He silenced the jubilant yellow waves of aChennai Super Kings in Chepauk's stands with his record-breaking 124* which sealed a 6-wicket win for LSG in IPL 2024,and said, after the game:

"I've got a great relationship with the coach , me not getting a contract, I knew that long ago. It's great to let the kids come in and get an opportunity, I'm happy to let them take my spot. But on the playing front, I'd like to play and contribute."

"You're planning and structuring, you're not liking certain bowlers and you're liking others more. I do think T20 cricket is changing, the scores that have been scored, the impact player role and how teams are taking on the bowlers."

Marcus Stoinis scored a commanding 62 off 45 deliveries to make chase easier for his team against Mumbai Indians.

A month after silencing the boisterous Super Kings fans with a blistering hundred in the IPL, Marcus Stoinis is set to don the yellow for the same franchise, albeit in their American avatar. The Australian all-rounder will join fellow WACA player Aaron Hardie, Daryl Mitchell, South African T20 skipper Aiden Markram and Naveen Ul Haq at the Texas Super Kings for the second season of MLC

The Aussie captain has turned the game for his team on his own. Scored 59 of just 29 balls hitting 2 massive sixes and took his team out of trouble along with Travis Head.

This overstarted the rebuild and this could be a match-winning fifty by him.

This inning earned him a well-deserved Man of the Match award.

And Australia had left him out of central contract.
