The fact that you want people to accept that Ajmal's performance > Yuvraj's performance shows your insecurity.

10 overs, 39 runs, 4 wickets is by no means better than Yuvraj's performance. I am sorry, but beating the bat 3 times isn't that big a deal. Specially when someone like Ishant does that to batsman almost every over.

Yes but the only difference is that Ajmal was taken out to ensure the score would be somewhat competitive cos this is an exhibition match.

So yes, Ajmal's performance would have easily been superior if he was used like in a normal match.

Yuvi's innings was cool too. That flick 6 of Lee reminded me of the 2007 WC T20 Yuvi.

Do a relative comparison. Compare Ajmal's bowling with the rest of the bowlers (on both sides). Compare Yuvi's batting with the rest of the batters (on both sides).

The answer would be clear.

What did you expect ? with 4 wickets down, he would come and smash sixes from the word go ?

If Viv or Tendulkar played it, it would have been called genius.

It was not like Yuvi was in command initially. Or for most part.

The innings eventually turned out great (with some memorable shots) but it was scratchy for most part.

Did anyone call Sachin's 80 in the WC semi final against Pak as a genius innings?
