Message to Pakistan Team: Stay calm, enjoy the moment and don't think too much!

This is the mindset I hope the PCB is trying to instil in our boys for Sunday. Just focus on your basics. India is just another opponent like South Africa and England. Keep doing what you were doing in the last 3 games and this is your game to trophy to take home.

Worrying about scoring 350+, or how to get ABC out, or how to select the perfect XI and how ABC must bat isnt going to help the situation. Its only made it harder for the boys in the recent fixtures against India.

Always remember, nobody gave us a chance before the tournament and we were written off before the SA game. We were not considered a threat against England. Guess what, we are in the final! So lets keep up this positivity. Play with the mindset that you have nothing to lose. You will still be recieved as heroes back home because truly, you have made this nation and the cricketing world proud. You have turned the hearts of those against you to now support you. Therefore, go and Enjoy the occasion instead of dreading anything.

...After seeing India play today. I've changed my mind, they're going to win comprehensively (on that road of a pitch) in a very boring, one sided match. I agree the hype will be better than the actual match. The chasm in batting skills between the two teams is irreparable. Pakistan has what one would describe as 'p1ss poor' batters (Hafeez and Malik) have long surpassed their 'use by' date. On the other hand, with a few new batsmen planted in the middle order, Pakistan is well on her way to becoming a competitive team and don't be overly disheartened by the loss in the final.

Why are people hating on Malik? He has been our best ODI bat since the 2015 WC. He scores his runs at a high strike rate, and bring impetus into the innings. He was the only batsman against India that looked to take the game to them, before he was run out. He has to perform for us to win on Sunday.

It is not impossible as SL beat them only few days back. India has this no worry about "Depends on which Indian side will turn up". There is only one side that will turn up always. Pakistan has two sides. One is hopelessly unprofessional side. Other one is fiercely competitive side. But with India even that is not enough if they bring their A game. If certain things go their way Pakistan can pull off a win.

Nope they lost in 49th over. That too because of India's bad planning more than anything else. India had chance to score 350. But wasted balls for century. SL almost beat Pakistan. But for their horrendous fielding SL would have sent them packing. Yes compared to Pakistan , India is well ahead Most sensible cricket fans would see that. Wish we had a series to prove that.
