I’m sorry but this whole arrangement with Mickey is an insult. If the PCB wanted Mickey so bad, they should have paid the break penalty in his Derbyshire contract and taken Mickey on full time. If the PCB were not willing to pay it, then they should have moved on and found someone else.

If Mickey didn’t want to join Pakistan full time and instead wanted to stick to his second division county side, then the PCB should have said good luck to you mate, and moved on. Pakistan should never have accepted being made second choice to anyone, let alone a division 2 county side.

In no circumstance should Pakistan have accepted a “Team Director” aka online coach, whose first priority would be a rubbish county team.

Mickey was good and everything, but he was no messiah such that we should sacrifice anything to have him. Najam Sethi has come into this job and instead of fresh thinking, he’s sat there and gone, the only coach in this whole world who I know is the one I hired last time and nobody can match him. I mean, what?!

The PCB needs imagination to revitalise the fortunes of this team. Instead we are getting the same recycled coaches, but in ever more bizarre and ridiculous ways.

And now M yousuf as interim head coach…loll really? After all big talk..now PCB is considering Yusif as interim head coach……….who has been utter failure as batting coach……

What I fear..is that ..they will, waste sooo much time with Mickey Arthur…tht eventually when they will realise…tht theres no point in continuing discussions with Mickey, and taks will eventually fail….it will be too late by then…..and there will be not much time left..in worldcup year to get good foreign coach..then……and then will be again considering these useless local coaches like yusuf again for world cup…what a shame

Cant understand whats so special about Mickey that we are obsessed with him? Why we are wasting precious time..in fruitless discussions with Mickey?
