Misbah is to be blamed for Pakistan's downfall.He brought this defensive mentality in our team which did good for himself but not for the team.We used to find solace in scoring 230-240 when other teams used to score 300 regularly and he selected his own favourites and I wont mention the names.Shehzad used to be an attacking player but when he returned to Pak setup in 2013 his S/R fell.

Blaming Misbah shows the pervasive victimhood mentality of some Pakistani fans. The structures are rotten, corrupt and greedy culture dominates both Pakistan society and cricket. Salman Butt, Asif & Aamir greed set Pakistan behind at least a decade. This impending Sharjeel ban will do the same. Instead of becoming superstitious and playing blame-game, these issues needs to be sorted.

Come on its been TWO and a half years since he retired from ODIs.

We've been through multiple captains since 2007 when our rot in ODIs first set in, hired and fired multiple coaches and chief selectors, and still we're struggling. This rot goes beyond any individual.

Our domestic and grassroots structure is rotten and to blame for not producing the international ready talent we need.

I once had 8 horses.

One of them was called Warrior and he was there leader.

4 horses died and left me 4 horses.

I could not find 4 other horses even though i searched for them.

To complete my barn i put 4 donkeys instead.

Of course i could not achieve a lot with 4 horses and 4 donkeys but i continuously hit Warrior everyday for failing to see other horses and donkeys do the same work as 8 horses used to do.

Gradually 3 horses died and Warrior also left my breed.

I was forced to have 8 donkeys instead of 8 horses.

I kept cursing Warrior even though he was no longer around.

I blame the three stooges - Inzi, Mickey and Sarfaz.

A poor squad to begin with full of TTF's by Inzi, poor team selection from Mickey who is not learning anything and then cowardly tactic by Sarfraz who decided to greet every new batsmen with a nice warm up from Imad.

The talk about grassroot level is a whole load of crap.We never had any grassroot structure.How can you blame the PCB for nepotism when it is something which exists in school cricket in Pakistan? I never got a chance in my school team due to favoritism and when I used to play against my family I was a really good cricketer.

No one individual is responsible, all these players are a product of the system. The problem is the system and the system only. That's why I don't blame any player, they're going to develop their game in the system and if the system is messed up, the players will be too, It's not their fault.

It's been almost 2 and a half YEARS since Misbah played his final ODI. Look at what England have managed to do in that time after being way behind the times with their ODI approach for years before.

I swear some people will still be blaming Misbah for matches that Pakistan will lose a decade from now.

Who is he to pick a captain of the team? It's team management or cricket board's fault when they picked Azhar Ali as a captain. They should have realized that a person who has not played ODI, how you are gonna make him a captain.
