Massive blunder. Such a blunder that even Modi never mentions it in his feku speech now a days.
99.3% of the currency is back, (not all of the 0.7% was black money) much more than than the govt expected.
Condition in Kashmir is now worst.
Counterfeit currency were in circulation in weeks after demonetization.
GDP growth rate slowed from 8% in 2015-16 to 7.1% in 2016-17 to 6.7% in 2017-18. Now after 2 years its back on track.
Not to forget 150 people died and many suffered, some lost their jobs as well.

But for Modi is was a big political success personally and for his party in UP election.
He ordered his "godi" media to run fake news like how the new notes have a chip ) and can be traced using some gps technology (people actually fell for it ) And how corrupt people are burning their black cash to save themselves.
He didn't even shy from using his own mother to gain sympathy.

But this is what we deserve when we elect a chaiwala to run our country.
