Poor management of his longstanding knee injury.

Poor management of his game time.

Poor management of his fitness.

Poor management of his rest periods.

Difficult to pinpoint the blame here to one person or the PCB, but this needs sorting out.

A serious injury waiting to happen.....your thoughts?

He probably should retire from Tests, quick fix because the PCB lack the professionalism to manage his work load adequately. Otherwise he could suffer a career ending injury, better get the best out of him in the limited forms instead.

Our current set of fast bowlers do get injured a lot.

Muhammad Amir
Junaid Khan
Hasan Ali
Usman Shinwari
Rumman Raees

Should get some fitness tips from the likes of Wahab and Sami. Express pace yet rarely injured.

He shouldn't have played against a team like Ireland, especially considering the fact that lots of big matches r coming up for Pakistan in next couple of months. He will gain nothing other than increasing the possibility of getting injured by playing against Ireland.

I want to ask a simple question. Why is it that only Amir complains about workload issues when their are several others like Rabada and Hazlewood playing more cricket and not complaining.

A simpel anwser: They have been locked after From 17-18 years of age and their board knows How to prepare and take care of a fast bowler. And in natural Australians are better athletes.

That's like saying Starc should take tips from Wahab and Sami because he keeps getting injured.

Some athletes are naturally more durable.

He plays non-stop cricket, needs to be managed better.

Probably just waiting for his knee to snap mid game before PCB do anything.

Don't worry, PCB has taken the positive step of limiting players to playing in only two leagues!

And Pakistan doesn't? They have long been reputed for being a fast bowling powerhouse, even if there have been a few lulls in between.

think you are being a bit harsh. he has been played in order to get rhythm and ball a test match length before the england series. He ha bowled the least amount of overs...roughly 9 or 10 per innings. Not everything can be done by the PCB, no one knows his own body like an athelete does

Should probably rest him for the Zimbabwe tour if he is injury prone right now.

It’s all important T20I against the might of Scotland, that too at their den; surely PAK can’t risk resting Amir & Hasan - already team is dented with Babar’s injury.
