Mohammad Hasnain's bowling action reported in the BBL

If someone can get the review taken by Hasnain in his first over in PSL. They showed the side angle to check for no ball and there was clearly a 20-25 degree angle. That was blatant

Showing a bent arm during delivery stride doesn't mean it's a throw.

The arm needs to straighten and ball released as it straightens to be considered a throw.

The wickets out in Australia were totally different to what Hasnain is bowling on in Karachi.

Therefore one would expect his pace to be down during the PSL as he is relying more on accuracy than pace.

So you are saying he released the ball at that point without the arm straining unless he is double jointed that is impossible.

We had another bowler who was saying doosra teesra and was biggest chucker called ajmal and rightly banned.

Looks like hasnain has started to sly chuck certain deliveries , if he plays intl cricket he will be watched like a hawk

Even if he is throwing or chucking, it's useless, he's not bowling any faster or swinging the ball
 
The foreign commentators were saying that they didn’t see anything wrong with his action.They said even if there is an issue it is going to be a minor issue which will be sorted out.The report will be available in two weeks.

Exactly.

From what i have seen Hasnain looks ok. There may be the odf delivery here or there which may be a chuck, but by and large he is fine.

I have a weird feeling the result will not go in Hasnain’s favour
 
Decent outing against Multan. Got both openers out including an in form Rizwan out on a duck... 4 overs, 2 wickets and 27 runs (economy of 7.75).
 
He's won the battle of the young pacers today. Comprehensively outperformed Dahani and Naseem. Even Rauf's spot might be in danger the way he was hammered by Khushdil. Let's hope the test clears and he performs consistently.

Since Waqars resignation, Hasnain and Naseem have both shown improvement
 
Read on twitter he wasn't playing today because tests have revealed his bowling action is illegal? There's no story, confirmation out there though . .
 
Nothing confirmed yet, but it doesn't sound like good news regarding Mohammad Hasnain's bowling action tests. Sarfaraz Ahmed "we suffered a setback just before the toss and we had to make a change as Hasnain was in the original team"

By the way his name was on the team sheet but then crossed out and replaced by Sohail Tanvir.
 
Did they find a problem with all his deliveries or one particular delivery?
 
Sorry to say but it always looked like he was chucking. Junaid got lucky too as he also should have been reported.
 
Damn, if he does come out to be a chucker, will the people claiming australians and icc out to ban pakistan apologise for their victim mentality?

This also shows the quality of umpiring in australia vs ours. The guy plays only a few games there and is caught immediately. Played his whole life in Pakistan and the umpires were sleeping.

A lesson for many, stop making each and everything a race problem or stop having that victim mentality

He played all over the world with many umpires
 
I am sorry to say there absolutely nothing wrong with his action if hasnain has a problem with his action every fast bowler should be banned including Bumrah who’s action is much more worse than hasnain if you want to speak about chucking… ICC Are destroying cricket and young careers quite frankly sad too see Pakistani bowler’s targeted when they action is clean

And he does it deliberately

When he bowls normal his speeds isn't as quick and doesn't hurry the batsmen


But when he starts kinking and putting more effort his action deteriorates hence a chucker .

Aussies usually call it right .Well done henriques

He has played all over the world.Check the facts before posting.Australian umpires not better than umpires from other countries.Simon Taufel was the only decent umpire,the rest are ok but not top notch.

Doesnt matter.

He started his cricket from pakistan, the number of games he played in pakistan is far greater than anywhere else he played.

It took an aussie umpire 3-4 games to catch him... While ours still dont see any thing wrong.

Just shows the level umpiring in both countries

The number of games he played in pakistan ia far greater.


The fact that an australian umpire caught him from the naked eye before anyone could, and that to when most so called cricket experts around here think it was an ok action and the aussies were beinf racist, it shows how good the aussie umpires are.

Before you do the pakistani rona dhona, hasnain wasnt tested in australia. He was tested in lahore, LUMS where they have set up a proper lab with icc accreditation.... The report that was sent to australia was published by LUMS...

Australia got vilified due to Muralitharan case but the truth is the Aussies got it right. There was never any racism involved

Srilankans of the 90s and early 2000s had the victim mentality. Much of it i blame it on ranatunga, the kind of influence he had that it rubbed it off with others.

There was a video of him going on where against australia he wanted a runner just becuase he himself was unfit and the umpire didnt allowed it. Sri lankans took offence to that.

Its really pathetic that to justify cheating we misuse the race card
 
I would like to see the report. I thought apart from the bouncer, the rest of his deliveries looked clean. His bowling had stagnated off late, having remedial work on his bowling action might be a good thing for him.
 
Murali was a freak with double joints
extreme hyperextension. He could rotate his shoulder , elbow , wrist in ways most human are physically incapable of doing he could dislocate his right shoulder .

Hasnain doesn't have that like shoaib Akhtar did.

If he chucks, then quite a few do too.

He has just had his action analysed using the most precise scientific equipment, and it's obvious that his action failed the test.

This is nothing to do with Bumrah or Murali or anybody except Hasnain.

Now the PCB needs to get him proper coaching to see whether his career can be saved.

Definitely surprised at the result. While I certainly trust the lab results over naked eye, Husnain's action didn't look that dodgy that it'd be illegal. It felt like there's certainly a bent, but not much straightening. I'd love to get the details of the results.

Very hard for Husnain to come back from this.
 
If the reports are true, I'm very surprised to see that his action is illegal.

Must say, if his action is illegal, then a few other bowlers need to be tested as well. Bumrah first. This isn't about India vs Pakistan or anything, looking at the side on angles of Bumrah's action, definite doubts.

Hasnain was reported by umpires.

When an umpire reports Bumrah he will be tested.

Until then watch the Aussies analyse his action.

Disagree with the view that Bumrah chucks. I hope though its a level playing field and that he is called for it if there is a doubt. Bumrah quite similar to Shoaib has a level hyper flexibility which with the naked eye looks like a chuck.

But that said, I believe ICC should mandate all boards to get their bowlers every 1-2 years, natural degradation of action also takes place over time and it will also get rid of inhibitions regarding rich boards getting special treatment.

Hasnain doesn't he's stiff as a cucumber and overhyped.

The guy is a bang average bowler who can't swing or seam it , and once he loses his speed with a rectified action he will have bowl with in the future he will be toothless.

There's no point even worrying pakistan needs to move on , he's hardly a second coming of shoaib akhtar

To be honest Australians were racist as well. Remember Darren Lehman episode

Ranatunga used the racism card and turned the tables on the Aussies and saved Muralitharan's career
 
Perks of playing in BBL. I am not blaming Australia but their acceptance rate is less and even a little bend in action will get reported. Hasnain would have never been reported in PSL or even in CPL.

Maybe PCB should learn from BCCI and ban its players participating from other overseas leagues, especially now that they have their own PSL.
 
I'm actually worried now.. there are quite a few dodgy ones out there and Hasnain looked better than most of them. His unnatural speeds actually had gotten people interested in him. More of our bowlers will be look at with scrutiny from now. Aussies in general are ruthless with their calling in these matters. We need to send fewer bowlers to BBL to avoid unnecessary limelight...

When you bowl at 150, you're anything but average. Jst need to get your radar right and you will be rewarded. Just look at Mak Wood or Dushmantha Chameera - they look average but get the wickets always. That is the nature of the game. It's unfortunate that Hasnain got some chink really...
 
Would the posters who cried racism and acted as pakistanis being made victim plz stand up....

Funny how the experts here were about to snike at anyone who question hasnain based on pics

Atm, it seems like Pak players are a very soft target.

There are others that have similar action to Hasnain and would be deemed to be chucking.

Definitely it will eradicate the issue of getting caught chucking whilst playing.
 
Liked the confidence of all posters who claimed that Hasnain's action was as clean as a whistle.

Similar claims were made for Ajmal and Hafeez as well.
 
If the same amount of investment went into Hasnain as it did Shaheen and Naseem, I can guarantee the dividends would be times 10 than that of the other two
