Very impressed with his batting, beating the crap out of Zaheer Khan right now. Will probably win this for Afghanistan. :)

He performed in the warm up games too...the only proper decent batsman in the side who can play proper cricketing shots, hence why i included him in the fantasy team lol

Good stuff, just 27 years of age so he's got a lot of Cricket ahead of him. Would be cool if they pick him in IPL.

Didn't mean to jinx him but nice that we got him out, big relief. :)

very very good player, he has lived in peshawar, pakistan for most of his life i wonder if he can play for pakistan, if so.. LETS GO AND GET THIS GUY, GREAT REPLACEMENT FOR THE FAILURE UMAR AKMAL!

+1 for stealing Nabi to play for Pakistan (but keep Umar..he will come good I am sure of it)

Mohammad Nabi and Hamid Hassan are Afghanistan's best players.
Nabi did well against England in the UAE earlier this year while playing for the ICC Combined Associate and Affiliate XI.

grew up in the pakistani circuit along with mohammad shahzad and hamid hasan

let three gems slip away, but three very important players for afghanistan and will be pivotal and the rise of the heart of asia

16.5 88.5 kph, Ashwin has got the dangerman, he pauses an eternity before delivering, waiting to see what the batsman will do, Nabi charges out to meet the delivery, looks to hammer it but edges it, loops towards mid-off where Rohit awaits 119/7
Poor fella.. that late-delivery-trick by Ashwin got him there, a downfall of Afgan innings started from there. btw His couple of drop catches were also very crucial for this defeat.

That was a very smart delivery from Ashwin, certainly the turning point. He was a big threat, hopefully will destroy England. :rondu

Was Hamid Hasan not playing, I didn't see his name on the scorecard?

Shapoor Zardan is another one to look out for. I was really impressed the way he set up sehwag. Great bowling action but he needs to get the seam right. :amir

Will be great if some AFG player gets an IPL contract, will be a big boost for their upcoming players.

Look to have a lot of class in his batting! He was quite dangerous yesterday for the indians!

No, he wasn't. He didn't even play the warm-up match I think.

He's in the squad but I'm not sure if he has fully recovered from the injury he got during the side match against England in the UAE in January this year. :(

whenever some minnow player does well ppl talk about giving him an IPL contract!

There are many other players in the world in which nabi can play, SLPL, BPL, BBL, FLT20. much better than being benched an entire IPL season

Played really well today. Really unlucky not to take his side over the line, no one else supported him.

Brilliant try today. Afghanistan need to send him up the order in place of the current trash they are sending

Afg team is now being run by some idiots. Nabi is their best bat but comes at no 6 .

Former Skipper Mohammad Nabi Appointed Member of Afghanistan Cricket Board

Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi has been appointed as a member of the country’s cricket board. Nabi is still an active international cricketer and is currently playing in the ongoing edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The 35-year-old is among four new members who have replaced the outgoing members of Afghanistan Cricket Board’s nine-member panel.

“Following recommendations by ACB chairman Farhan Yusefzai, and subsequently approved by Patron in-chief, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, four new board members were introduced today to the Afghanistan Cricket Board replacing four former members,” ACB said in a statement on Thursday.
